Anupama 8th September 2024 Written Update: The episode starts with Anuj helping Anupama prepare modak for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. While Anuj is busy with the preparations, Anupama requests him to take a break as he has been tirelessly preparing the Ganesh idol. Anuj refuses, telling her that she’s also equally tired, and he reminds her that he will never let her work alone. This small moment between them reflects their love and understanding for each other.
Meanwhile, Hasmuk is seen anxiously waiting for Leela’s return. There is an atmosphere of tension in the air as Hasmuk worries about what is happening at the Shah house. His thoughts are clouded with concern for his family, especially Leela, Vanraj, and Paritosh. While Hasmuk is deep in thought, Anuj and Anupama notice that he seems emotional. When they ask him what’s bothering him, Hasmuk opens up about his concerns regarding the Shah house. He confides in them that he is worried about the well-being of his family members and the problems they are facing.
Anuj, always the voice of reason, suggests to Hasmuk that he can return to the Shah house if that’s what he wants. He assures him that there is no pressure, and he is free to make his own decisions. At this moment, Paritosh enters the scene, adding fuel to the fire. Paritosh, in his usual arrogant way, tells Hasmuk that he can go back to the Shah house, but only if he cuts ties with Aasha Bhawan. He asserts that he won’t allow Hasmuk to keep going back and forth between the two places. This angers Anupama, who immediately confronts Paritosh. However, Paritosh, showing his disrespectful side, makes his disgust clear and shows contempt towards Anupama.
The tension rises as Paritosh ends up falling down, and in the heat of the moment, he vows to take revenge on Anupama. Meanwhile, Anupama is unfazed by Paritosh’s threats and focuses on planning Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. She decides to invite Leela to be a part of the festivities. Anuj reassures Hasmuk, asking him not to worry about Paritosh’s hurtful words.
At another part of the story, Adhya and her friends Bala and Indra help Sagar get ready for the celebrations. They give Sagar a makeover to make him look dashing. Anupama and Anuj are surprised when they see Sagar’s new look. Sagar, however, makes up an excuse about meeting his friends and leaves. Anuj, suspicious of Sagar’s behavior, arranges a bike for him and suspects that he may have gone to meet his girlfriend. Anupama, too, is left thinking about Sagar’s mysterious girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Sagar meets Meenu and successfully impresses her with his charm. Meenu is smitten by Sagar’s new look, and it’s clear that the feelings are mutual. At the same time, at the Shah house, Paritosh learns that Kinjal has gone out to meet her friends. This sparks jealousy in him, and he starts doubting Kinjal, just as Vanraj did with Anupama in the past. Leela, witnessing this, tells Paritosh to stop behaving like Vanraj and warns him about the path he is walking on. Anupama and Anuj, on the other hand, take a moment to spend some quality time together.
Later, Kinjal returns home, and Paritosh, following in his father’s footsteps, tries to impose restrictions on her. He tells her not to make boyfriends or attend parties, essentially trying to control her life. Kinjal, however, is not one to stay quiet. She firmly tells Paritosh to stop behaving like Vanraj and reminds him that she is not Anupama and won’t tolerate such behavior.
At Aasha Bhawan, Adhya learns about Anupama’s foot injury, which has kept her from dancing. Anuj, ever the supportive husband, decides to help Anupama heal her injury. He insists on helping her, showing his deep care and concern for her well-being.
As the episode progresses, Meenu confronts Sagar about impressing her. In a heartfelt moment, Sagar confesses his love to Meenu, and to his delight, Meenu admits that she feels the same way. However, both Sagar and Meenu are worried about how their families will react to their relationship. They decide to face the challenges together and fight for their love. Meanwhile, Pakhi discovers their relationship and decides to expose them, adding another layer of drama to the story.
In a lighter moment, Adhya plans to give Anuj and Anupama a makeover. Anuj then encourages Anupama to start dancing again, wanting her to do what she loves.
The episode ends with a sweet and festive note. In the precap, Anuj, Adhya, and Anupama are seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with joy. Dolly makes a surprise return home, and Anupama, Meenu, and Sagar are left stunned by her arrival.
