Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein 8th September 2024 Written Update: The episode starts with Mrunmayi deeply lost in thought. She is thinking about what Aman told her regarding the problems between Savi and Rajat. Aman had mentioned that the situation between them has worsened, and Rajat’s family has boycotted him.
Mrunmayi is left wondering what to do and who to talk to about this. Feeling restless, she decides to call Aman in the middle of the night to confirm if everything he told her is true. Aman reassures her that it’s true and admits that he has never seen Rajat so disturbed before. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Aman tries to comfort Mrunmayi, telling her not to worry and promises that he will find a solution. Mrunmayi feels a bit relieved and ends the call.
Meanwhile, Isha and Shantanu discuss the preparations for the Ganesh Sthapana that is scheduled for the next day. Isha expresses her desire for everything to be perfect as Saisha, their adopted daughter, had given the gift of motherhood to Savi. Shantanu understands the emotional importance of this occasion and agrees to make it special.
Shortly after, Milind and Harini arrive at Isha and Shantanu’s home. Harini, upon hearing about the Ganesh Sthapana, offers her help, especially since Saisha is emotionally connected to the family. Isha is delighted and thanks Harini and Milind for coming, expressing how their presence will make the event more special. Harini then heads to the kitchen to prepare tea for everyone.
Noticing Isha is a little stressed, Shantanu asks her if she regrets arranging Savi and Rajat’s marriage, especially given Rajat’s recent behavior. Isha confidently replies that she doesn’t have any regrets about the decision. She acknowledges that Rajat’s behavior has been difficult, but she stands by her choice. She shares how much Savi has grown since they first met.
Isha recalls how Savi was once an introverted and angry child after losing both her parents, but their bond helped Savi heal. Isha reflects that their relationship healed not only Savi but also herself, as she was lonely without her son. She believes that the strong bond between Savi and Saisha will bring positive changes to Rajat and that Savi will be able to help him grow into a better person.
The next morning, Saisha wakes up Savi, who is initially worried that she’s late for school. However, Saisha reminds her that it’s a holiday, easing Savi’s mind.
Isha praises Mrunmayi for the beautiful decorations for the Ganesh festival. Mrunmayi proudly reveals that while she did the decorating, Aman was the one who brought the supplies. Upon hearing Aman’s name, Isha’s mood shifts, and she walks away, visibly upset. Sensing something is wrong, Shantanu asks Isha why she seems angry. Isha brings up Aman’s past actions against Mrunmayi, and Shantanu advises her to trust Mrunmayi, just as she trusts Savi.
Later, Isha and Mrunmayi visit the Thakkar family to invite them to the Ganesh Sthapana celebration. Bhagyashree, the matriarch of the Thakkar family, accepts the invitation, stating that since it’s Savi and Saisha’s wish, they are honored to have Bappa at their house. Isha agrees, but she has her own reasons. After leaving, Mrunmayi asks Isha why she was so quick to agree to Bhagyashree’s suggestion. Isha then reveals her plan to influence the Thakkars into adopting Marathi customs. Mrunmayi praises her for this clever approach.
Meanwhile, back at the house, Savi is pouring out all the alcohol from the house. Rajat tries to stop her, but she reminds him of his drunken behavior from the previous night. He recalls the events and discreetly checks his pocket to ensure that the DNA samples he is hiding are still safe. Bhagyashree enters the scene and becomes furious when she sees Savi pouring out her favorite alcohol, accusing Savi of wasting expensive liquor.
When Savi asks her how she knows the price of the bottles, Bhagyashree lies and says it’s because she’s responsible for cleaning the house. Savi insists that with the Ganesh festival around the corner, it’s important to keep the house alcohol-free. Isha intervenes and tells Bhagyashree that Savi’s actions might have saved Rajat, convincing Bhagyashree to calm down.
As the Ganesh Sthapana preparations continue, Isha gives traditional Marathi clothes to the Thakkar family, encouraging them to embrace the Marathi customs. Bhagyashree expresses her unfamiliarity with the Navvari saree, but Isha reassures her that she will help them dress properly.
Towards the end of the episode, Rajat refuses to wear a traditional pagdi, but after Sai requests it, he agrees, much to the joy of everyone present.
In the precap, a dramatic turn of events takes place when Sai is hospitalized, and the doctor reveals that Sai needs O-negative blood. Savi desperately asks Rajat to get his blood tested, as their blood types might match, but Rajat refuses, leaving Savi shocked and distressed.
