Kumkum Bhagya 8th September 2024 Written Update: The episode starts with Neha drinking the juice given to her by Jasbeer. Purvi and RV watch this from a distance, hopeful that their plan will work. Purvi then suggests that it’s time to start the ritual. Before anything begins, Purvi walks over to Neha, telling her that her makeup is ruined and needs fixing. Neha agrees, leaving the room with Purvi to freshen up.
In another part of the house, Sahil is seen looking confused while preparing plates for the guests. Noticing his discomfort, the maid asks Sahil if he knows how to serve food properly. He responds that he is feeling unwell, which prompts the maid to offer her help. She tells Sahil to serve the guests by carrying the tray, while she handles the plating. Sahil agrees and leaves to fulfill the maid’s request.
Meanwhile, Purvi brings Neha to a guest room and asks her to fix her makeup. During this time, Neha suddenly apologizes to Purvi for taking RV away from her. At this moment, Purvi realizes the truth serum is starting to take effect. Quickly, she turns on a camera, wanting to catch Neha’s confession. Purvi asks Neha why she has been causing all this trouble, but Neha responds carefully, explaining that Purvi is angry at her because of the divorce between her and RV. Neha’s hesitation in her responses makes Purvi realize that the truth serum’s effects are limited. Disappointed, Purvi asks if Neha has anything more to confess, but Neha says no, leaving Purvi frustrated as she exits the room.
Elsewhere, Yug is visibly excited, and Diya, noticing this, asks him why. Yug eagerly shares his excitement, saying that their plan to make Neha confess is working and Purvi will get it all on camera. Despite his enthusiasm, Diya and others warn him not to get ahead of himself, reminding him that the plan is still in progress and could fail. Yug acknowledges their concerns but remains hopeful.
Purvi returns to RV and the others, who are anxious to hear the results. RV asks if the plan worked, but Purvi confesses she is unsure. Confused, RV asks for clarification, and Purvi explains that Neha hasn’t made any significant confessions yet. This leaves RV and the group disheartened, assuming their plan has failed.
At the same time, Jasbeer is seen talking to Monisha, explaining that RV’s family is very dangerous. He reveals that they tried to trick Neha into drinking juice laced with something suspicious, though he wasn’t sure what it was. Monisha guesses that it could have been a truth serum, intended to force Neha into revealing her secrets. Growing nervous, Monisha worries that Neha might have confessed everything. However, Jasbeer reassures her, saying he sabotaged their plan. He admits that after getting suspicious of the juice, he poured it into a plant and served Neha a different drink. Back with RV’s family, Dadaji expresses concern over what they should do if the truth serum doesn’t work. A distressed RV replies that he can’t go through with the engagement if Neha doesn’t confess the truth. He worries that he might be forced into marrying her. Purvi, determined not to give up, suggests using a stronger dose of the truth serum to ensure Neha tells the truth this time. Diya volunteers to help Purvi with the plan, and together they leave to execute it.
Purvi mixes a higher dose of the truth serum into a glass of water and hands Diya the untouched glass to offer Neha. Diya agrees to help.
Later, Purvi approaches Neha, who unexpectedly admits that she has a confession to make. Neha tearfully shares that she never wanted to cause trouble for RV and his family, but feels trapped in this marriage as she believes it’s her only option. Purvi tries to dig deeper, asking who is behind Neha’s actions. However, Neha maintains that no one else is involved. Spotting Sahil nearby, Neha excuses herself, saying she needs to go to the washroom, and leaves quickly, with Sahil following her.
Inside a locked room, Neha confronts Sahil, asking if he really wants to marry her. Sahil, visibly upset, tells Neha that he’s willing to leave her if she wants to marry someone else. Neha assures Sahil that she loves him and promises to explain everything later. After this, Sahil leaves the room.
Purvi arrives at the door, knocking and asking Neha to open it. Neha eventually unlocks the door, pretending she was only using the washroom. Diya offers Neha a glass of water, commenting that she looks unwell, but Neha declines and walks away.
Sensing that something is deeply troubling Neha, Sahil decides not to abandon her. Back with the family, Dadaji and Harman praise Purvi for her persistence, still holding onto hope that their plan will eventually succeed.
