He further explains that rescue teams have reached the crash site and, based on the initial reports, it appears that there are no survivors from the crash. Kusum, trying to stay strong despite the grief, consoles Mangal. She encourages him to believe that Adit might still be safe. Mangal, though visibly shaken, reassures Kusum that nothing will happen to Adit and that he will come back to them. Just as Mangal is trying to hold himself together, he receives a call from Akshat’s school. The school informs him that Akshat has injured another student, and Mangal and Sudesh immediately leave the airport to address the situation.

Mangal listens patiently but is interrupted when Kusum calls him with the good news that Adit was not on the crashed flight. Mangal, overwhelmed with relief, thanks God for sparing Adit’s life. While Mangal is dealing with Akshat’s issues, Kusum begins to wonder where Adit might be if he wasn’t on the plane. A scene then reveals Adit spending quality time with Sowmya, his colleague. Meanwhile, Kusum tries calling Adit, but she only receives a message stating that Adit’s phone is switched off. This adds to her anxiety. She decides to call Adit’s office and is surprised to learn that there is no scheduled meeting in Mumbai today. The office also informs her that it’s Sowmya’s birthday, and she has taken the day off. This revelation makes Kusum suspicious, and she decides to go to the hotel where Sowmya is staying.
At the hotel, Adit eagerly awaits a delivery—a special chocolate bouquet for Sowmya. Sowmya reminds Adit that he had promised not to use his phone while they were together. Adit, however, assures her that he has something planned and that it will be a pleasant surprise. When the delivery boy arrives with the bouquet, Mangal receives it, thinking it’s for him. He realizes it was ordered two hours earlier, which makes him believe Adit is safe and nearby.
Kusum eventually arrives at the hotel and manages to find Sowmya’s room number. At that moment, Adit calls Kusum, telling her that he’s about to attend a meeting in Mumbai. However, as soon as Kusum enters the room, she finds Adit and Sowmya together, which infuriates her. Adit, shocked, realizes that he has been caught red-handed by Kusum.
