The episode of Kavya Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon 12 September 2024 begins with a gripping scene where the Dayaan (witch) is tormenting Machharji. She demands to know more about the “Pra-dayaan” that Machharji has been mentioning, but he remains silent. His thoughts take him back to the time he saw Preeti, which caused him to faint. The Dayaan, finding this amusing, bursts into laughter. She declares her evil intentions of killing a thousand men in order to become the “Maha Dayaan.” As she tightens her grip on Machharji, choking him, she also threatens to kill him and his beloved Abhimanyu.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu, who had left the room earlier, realizes he forgot his phone inside. He returns to fetch it, only to walk in on the terrifying scene. However, Abhimanyu, unaware of the Dayaan’s real identity, jokes if Machharji is still eating dinner. He’s in a romantic mood and takes the opportunity to hug Preeti, who he believes to be innocent.
In desperation, Machharji tries to alert Abhimanyu about the truth — that Preeti is the Dayaan. To get his attention, he picks up a glass and throws it at Preeti. However, Preeti, being the Dayaan, uses her supernatural powers to divert the glass away, making it land elsewhere. This only confuses Abhimanyu, who then questions Machharji’s actions. He is baffled as to why Machharji would attack Preeti, especially when she has been taking good care of him. Abhimanyu dismisses the situation and leaves the room, asking Preeti to continue looking after Machharji.
As Abhimanyu exits, he overhears a suspicious conversation. Preeti’s chachi is talking to someone on the phone about a mysterious task. Intrigued, Abhimanyu decides to hide and follow her, eager to uncover what she’s up to.
The focus shifts to Bindu, who is seen walking through tall grass and eventually reaching the main road. Suddenly, a speeding car comes dangerously close to hitting her, but Bindu narrowly escapes. She mutters to herself, promising that once she reaches home, she will return to her original size. However, her troubles are far from over. She is confronted once again by the severed head of Shastri, a ghastly figure haunting her. He orders Chandrika to kill Bindu if she attempts to return home, emphasizing that Bindu must not survive this time. Chandrika, determined to follow through, vows to eliminate Bindu once and for all.
Meanwhile, the scene shifts to Vicky and Kavya, who are racing against time to clear Kavya’s name. Vicky reassures Kavya that they still have 12 to 14 hours left, and they must find the ward boy who holds key information. Kavya is anxious and unsure how they will achieve this, but Vicky remains optimistic, promising they will figure it out.
In another part of the storyline, Giriraj informs Adi that the doctor has said Malini will recover soon. However, Giriraj secretly signals to Malini, urging her not to reveal the truth. Malini, torn between loyalty and honesty, questions Adi about his misunderstandings concerning Kavya, pointing out that history is repeating itself. Adi is confused by Malini’s words and presses her for more information. She, in turn, asks Adi to follow his heart and think carefully about whether Kavya could truly be involved in anything malicious.
As tension builds, Giriraj turns on the news, and Adi is shocked to see reporters tarnishing Kavya’s image. Unable to control his anger, Adi confronts one of the reporters and ends up physically assaulting him for badmouthing Kavya. The reporter, visibly shaken, leaves the scene, while Sanjiv asks Adi what he plans to do next.
Later, Anjali approaches Adi, criticizing him for his reckless behavior. She expresses her disappointment, stating that she was the only one who had hope in him, but he has shattered it with his actions. Anjali reveals that Kavya and Vicky are actively searching for proof to clear Kavya’s name and that they will find it. To add to Adi’s turmoil, Anjali discloses that Rajiv is considering marrying Kavya off to Vicky. If Kavya agrees to this, she will leave Adi’s life forever, and he will have no one to blame but himself.
This revelation sends Adi into a spiral of anxiety. He is now desperate not to lose Kavya and is determined to find a way to resolve the situation.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger with a preview showing Vicky telling Adi to leave Kavya to him, while Rajiv informs Kavya of their plans to arrange her marriage to Vicky.
