Mera Balam Thanedaar 13th September 2024: The episode begins with Sulakshana informing Veer that Bulbul has fainted unexpectedly. She expresses her confusion and worry, as she doesn’t know what could have caused this sudden situation. Concerned, Veer rushes to check on Bulbul. As soon as he touches her forehead, he realizes that she has a fever. Understanding the seriousness of the situation, he calls Dr. Jain to seek his medical advice.
On the other hand, Jain, upon receiving Veer’s call, feels slightly puzzled as to why Veer is reaching out to him at such a late hour. He remembers that Bulbul used to contact him frequently to arrange secret meetings with Vaani, so he answers the call with a bit of hesitation. Veer, without wasting any time, informs Jain that Bulbul is burning up with a high fever and urgently needs medical attention. Jain, already aware of Bulbul’s fragile health condition, agrees to come over and check on her. However, he’s also worried about Sulakshana recognizing him, but knows he can’t avoid his duty.
Jain arrives at Veer’s house, wearing a mask to conceal his identity. Vaani immediately recognizes him and questions why he’s hiding behind a mask. Jain fabricates an excuse, telling her that he has developed an allergy, and requests her to keep his identity a secret. He explains that he’s only there to treat Bulbul and not for any other reason. Vaani agrees to his request. Sulakshana soon arrives and takes Jain to Bulbul’s room so he can examine her.
As Veer explains the situation, he tells Jain that Bulbul had taken it upon herself to manage all the preparations for an upcoming puja. Despite everyone’s concerns, she refused to accept any help and took full responsibility. In the process, she fell into some water while carrying out the arrangements, which seems to have contributed to her falling sick.
Jain examines her and confirms that Bulbul’s fever is likely a result of this incident. Varadha then presents Bulbul’s blood test results, which Jain reviews. He informs them that her hemoglobin levels are low, and she needs complete rest. After prescribing some medicines, Jain leaves the house, advising everyone to take good care of Bulbul.
Veer, deeply affected by Bulbul’s condition, sits beside her and reflects on their time together. He expresses his emotions, telling Bulbul how much he misses her cheerful presence and her smile. His concern and affection for her are evident as he begs her to wake up and speak to him. However, Drishti, observing the scene, becomes irritated and accuses Bulbul of seeking attention. She claims that Bulbul’s actions are all part of a plan to gain favor with the family. Veer, overhearing Drishti’s harsh words, is infuriated.
In a fit of rage, Veer drags Drishti into the hall and confronts her in front of everyone. He demands to know how she dares to speak ill of Bulbul. Drishti, undeterred, continues to accuse Bulbul of pretending to care for the family and taking on responsibilities only to impress everyone. Veer angrily retorts that Drishti has never cared for the family herself, pointing out that she didn’t even participate in the fasting rituals but is pretending to care about them.
Veer, still fuming, tells Drishti that no matter what she does, she will never be able to replace Bulbul in this family. In his anger, Veer tries to push Drishti out of the house, but Varnika intervenes, insisting that she will handle Drishti herself. Veer eventually walks away, but his anger is clear.
Sulakshana, shaken by Bulbul’s illness, remarks that someone’s evil eye must have fallen on her. Later, Sulakshana asks Varadha to pick up Viyuk from school, but Drishti volunteers to do it instead. Despite her offer, they refuse, citing Drishti’s history of carelessness. However, Sulakshana eventually agrees to give Drishti a chance, but she makes it clear that Drishti must return with Viyuk safely.
At the school, Viyuk waits for Bulbul, but kidnappers target him. Jain, who happens to be nearby, fights off the kidnappers and saves Viyuk. Back at home, Sulakshana is furious with Drishti for neglecting her responsibility to pick up Viyuk, but her anger is cut short when Jain arrives home with the child. Jain explains to Veer how he rescued Viyuk from the goons, and Veer is immensely grateful to him. Jain brushes off the thanks, stating that Viyuk is like a son to him.
Vaani, however, is not so forgiving. In a moment of anger, she physically attacks Drishti, strangling her out of frustration. Sulakshana intervenes, slapping Drishti and accusing her of being irresponsible and incapable of acting like Bulbul. Drishti, stung by the humiliation, later tries to sabotage a puja by adding kerosene to the hawan, hoping to cause a disaster.
However, her plan fails, and instead of causing chaos, the puja concludes successfully. To her embarrassment, the kerosene backfires, leaving Drishti with a blackened face. Veer publicly exposes her failed plan and mocks her, warning her that he will never let her harm his family.
The episode ends with Drishti vowing to take revenge on the family.
