TV actress Simran Budharup, known for her role in Kumkum Bhagya, recently visited the famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal in Mumbai to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. However, what should have been a positive experience turned out to be upsetting for her and her mother. In a detailed Instagram post, Simran shared her disappointment about how they were treated by the staff during their visit.
She revealed that while her mother was taking a picture, a security personnel snatched her phone away. Simran clarified that her mother was standing behind her in the queue and wasn’t causing any delay. When her mother tried to get the phone back, she was pushed by the staff member. Simran then stepped in to defend her mother, but things escalated further when the bouncers “rough-handled” her as well.
Simran decided to record the situation on her phone, but the staff tried to take her phone too. In her post, she explained how she had to shout, “Mat Karo! Kya Kar Rahe ho aap” (Don’t do this! What are you doing?). It was only after they realized that she was an actor that they stopped their behavior.
She emphasized the need for better staff management, saying that people visit such places with positive intentions and expect respect, not mistreatment. Simran acknowledged that managing large crowds is difficult, but she stressed that the staff should handle the situation without being aggressive.
Ending her post, Simran expressed hope that her experience would serve as a lesson for event organizers and staff to treat visitors with more dignity and respect in the future.
