In today’s episode of Mangal Lakshmi, a heartwarming moment took place when Adit and the family planned a surprise for Mangal. The episode began with Adit welcoming Mangal into the house with a flower in hand. Akshat and Ishana, with excitement in their voices, urged Mangal to accept the rose, promising an even bigger surprise for her. Confused, Mangal asked Adit what this surprise was all about. Adit explained that since Mangal always goes out of her way to care for everyone, they decided to do something special for her. Akshat quickly added that the entire plan was Adit’s idea, and they simply followed his lead. Adit then revealed he had ordered her favorite food from outside.

The surprise didn’t end there. Adit, showing his affection for Mangal, insisted she sit down while he prepared tea for her. Mangal offered to make the tea herself, but Kusum stopped her, insisting that Adit take care of her today. As Adit left to prepare the tea, Mangal found herself lost in thought. She recalled a conversation with Sowmya and realized she couldn’t tell Kusum the truth about Adit’s recent actions. She knew it would hurt Kusum deeply to learn about Adit’s lies. At the same time, Kusum silently observed Mangal, sensing something was wrong but unable to reveal how Adit had betrayed her trust.

Meanwhile, another storyline unfolded. Lakshmi tied a sacred thread on Karthik’s wrist. Surprised, Karthik asked her what she was doing. Lakshmi explained that after witnessing Mangal’s fear following Adit’s accident, she was reminded of her parents’ death. The fear of losing someone she cared about was too much for her to bear. She confessed her feelings to Karthik, who then shifted the conversation, asking if she had ever been to Goa. When Lakshmi admitted she hadn’t, Karthik immediately asked his staff to book flight tickets for the two of them to visit Goa.

Later, Mangal approached Adit, confronting him about his recent actions. She asked him directly why he was doing all of this. Adit pretended not to understand, but Mangal wasn’t fooled. She revealed that Sowmya had already told her everything—that Adit didn’t board his flight because he went to attend Sowmya’s birthday instead. Adit, caught off guard, admitted that he had planned to go to Mumbai, but his colleagues convinced him to stay for the celebration. He confessed he didn’t tell anyone because he feared Kusum would question his actions. Adit then apologized to Mangal for lying. Mangal, visibly hurt, warned him not to do anything that could ruin their trust again. As she walked away, Adit received a call from Sowmya. Furious that she had told Mangal the truth, Adit angrily threw his phone in frustration.

In a separate scene, Gayatri and Sanjana discovered that Karthik and Lakshmi had planned a trip to Goa. Worried about recent events, Gayatri disapproved of the trip. She reminded Karthik about how fortunate it was that Adit hadn’t boarded his flight, or he could have lost his life. Gayatri, deeply concerned, said she had already called the pandit for the next day to seek guidance and would make decisions only after consulting him. Lakshmi, seeing how scared Gayatri was, told Karthik they should cancel their Goa trip. Just then, Lakshmi received a call from Kusum.

Later in the episode, Karthik, Lakshmi, Shanti, and Lipika arrived at Mangal’s house, where an unexpected announcement was made. Kusum, in front of everyone, placed a ceremonial chunri over Mangal and asked her to marry Adit. She reminded the family that they had planned this wedding long ago but couldn’t follow through due to various circumstances. Now, Kusum said, the time was right to proceed with the marriage. Everyone in the room agreed it was a wonderful idea. However, Mangal seemed hesitant, trying to avoid the topic. Sensing her unease, Kusum quickly reassured her not to worry about the expenses.

In a tender moment, Lakshmi noticed Mangal’s silence and asked her why she didn’t seem happy about the good news. Mangal, unable to speak, kept her thoughts to herself, leaving everyone in suspense as the episode came to an end.
