The episode begins with Adrija taunting Meghla and Appu, stirring up tension between them. She also has a heated argument with Choton. In the middle of all this, Appu asks Lalon to sing a song. Lalon responds, saying he will sing along with her. However, Kajal steps in and insists that both of them sing, but Meghla should sing first. Meanwhile, Anuradha introduces Bhattacharya to Appu’s family. Anirudh greets Bhattacharya and acknowledges the way he managed everything, stating that his father had wronged them before.
Bhattacharya, accepting the praise, says it’s his challenge to uncover the truth in time. He adds that Anirudh should feel proud of Jhanak, as she opened his eyes to the reality of things. Lalon invites everyone to come and sit down. Choton, feeling down, tells someone that his job isn’t big and that he just sells books. He adds that he no longer wants to hold onto the memories attached to books. When asked what kind of memories, he admits he will miss that person. The person responds, saying they didn’t realize it was so hard to love them, and they wonder if they are such a bad person.
Choton explains that the memories are painful, saying he feels illiterate and unable to comprehend everything. The other person reassures him that they are not there to take an exam. Choton, however, mentions he is considering moving to Assam for work. The person responds coldly, saying he should go if that’s his decision. Choton adds that now that Appu is married, Anjana and Bablu can look after his parents. It would be best if he left to earn money and support his family. The other person replies that staying with family is more important than earning money.
Choton, feeling determined, says nothing can stop him from leaving. The person adds, perhaps out of frustration, that no one has met him yet who could make him stay. Choton says he doesn’t like to take risks and would rather let someone go if they wish to. The person tells him that she is there only for the function and won’t take responsibility for his mistakes. They walk away, leaving Choton in deep thought.
Meanwhile, Meghla takes the stage and sings. Mrinalini comments that Choton wants to go to Assam. Anjana firmly says she won’t let him leave. As Meghla finishes, everyone applauds her performance, though Adrija shows her displeasure. Then, Appu and Lalon perform a duet, leaving Kajal emotional and in tears. When Appu asks if Kajal enjoyed the song, she admits that it was wonderful, telling Appu that she truly deserves to be Lalon’s wife.
Appu expresses her confidence that Lalon will become a famous singer one day. She tells Kajal that when that happens, she’ll need to be the one to scold him. Kajal responds by saying Lalon will only listen to Appu, as he loves her deeply.
Later, Lalon asks Anirudh to join them for a song. Jhanak, lost in her thoughts, remembers Anirudh. As he sings “Tumhe koi aur dekhe to…,” the radio plays the same tune, and Jhanak hears it. The memory floods back as Anirudh reflects on his feelings for her, thinking about how much he loved her, yet how their relationship was marred by her lies and accusations.
Jhanak, feeling emotional, recalls how Anirudh refused to take responsibility for their child, stating it was Aditya’s problem. She starts experiencing stomach pain as the doorbell rings. She wonders if it’s Aditya, regretting not having taken more rest. When Aditya arrives, he notices her pale face and inquires about her health. She brushes off his concern, attributing her tiredness to pregnancy. He asks whether Anirudh accepted her, but Jhanak insists it’s her problem to deal with.
Despite her cold response, Aditya admits that Jhanak has changed him. He tells her how much he wanted to spend time with her and support her, even though he knows she loves Anirudh. He confesses his love for her, though he knows she won’t reciprocate. Despite that, he offers to stand by her and even take responsibility for her child if Anirudh doesn’t. Jhanak, although grateful, turns him down gently, saying she is capable of raising the child alone.
Suddenly, Jhanak feels dizzy and collapses. Aditya catches her and urges her to go to the doctor, sensing something is wrong. Though she reassures him that fainting is normal during pregnancy, she admits she is scared due to intense stomach pain. Aditya insists they visit the hospital for a checkup, and Jhanak reluctantly agrees.
In the precap, Aditya calls Anirudh to inform him that Jhanak’s condition has worsened and that they had to admit her to the hospital. Anirudh immediately prepares to head to Mumbai.
