The episode begins with Suman approaching the police station, determined to file a complaint. She tells the inspector to write an FIR. The inspector questions Kritika, asking if she is really Gajendra Gupta’s daughter. Kritika confirms that her father’s name is on her passport. Suman urges the inspector to file the complaint because Kritika allegedly hit her mother with a car. She says it doesn’t matter whether Kritika is Gupta’s daughter or not.
The inspector hesitates, advising Suman to reconsider her decision, reminding her that they are dealing with a rich and influential family. However, Suman is firm in her demand. She insists that the police take action against Kritika. At this moment, Devika arrives at the station. She assures Kritika that she will handle the situation and tells her not to worry.
The inspector greets Devika respectfully, recognizing her as Gajendra Gupta’s daughter. Devika starts conversing with the inspector, asking about his well-being. She quickly shifts the conversation, accusing Suman of filing a false case against her sister. Suman, angered, responds by accusing the inspector of showing more interest in their family’s wealth rather than investigating the case. Suman demands once again that he file the case against Kritika.
Devika steps in to defend Kritika, reminding the inspector that they come from a respected and affluent family. She questions if he really believes that Kritika would do such a thing. The inspector clarifies that it’s not his opinion, but Suman’s accusation.
Suman repeats her claim, stating that Kritika hit her mother with a car and fled the scene. Devika, standing firm, denies the accusation. She insists that Kritika is innocent and didn’t run away. She challenges the inspector, asking if he has any proof to support Suman’s claims. She questions how they can arrest Kritika without any evidence.
Suman then states that she has an eyewitness—herself. She says she saw Kritika run from the scene. Devika counters by demanding CCTV footage as proof. She reveals that she has an alibi for Kritika, saying her sister was with her at home when the accident happened. Devika even offers the testimony of their house servants to back up her claim.
Suman tries another angle, accusing Teerth, Kritika’s husband, of offering bribes to silence the servants. Devika calmly responds, saying Teerth gave them money out of pity, not guilt. She stresses that it’s the police’s responsibility to gather evidence, not rely on baseless accusations. Devika then accuses Suman of filing the complaint only for financial gain, claiming that Suman is trying to blackmail Kritika for money.
Kritika agrees with her sister’s assessment. This enrages Suman. Devika warns that if Suman continues with her false accusations, they will file a complaint against her for blackmail. Suman feels cornered and protests that she is being framed.
Meanwhile, in another part of the episode, Geetanjali speaks to Chandrashekhar. She informs him that Kritika caused the accident and expresses her belief that Kritika is not fit to be the daughter-in-law of their family. Chandrashekhar tries to calm her down, explaining that the accident was unintentional. He praises Teerth for being lucky to have Kritika as his wife, but Geetanjali remains unmoved. She adds that Devaki, their other daughter-in-law, is already causing trouble, and she cannot accept Kritika into the family as well.
Chandrashekhar disagrees, reminding Geetanjali that Devika is loved by everyone and has always taken responsibility for the household. As they argue, back at the police station, Suman secretly records everything that’s happening. She threatens to use the recording against them if the police refuse to file the complaint.
Teerth arrives and also asks the inspector to file the case, but Devika scolds him for supporting Suman. As tensions rise, Hema, another family member, intervenes. She pleads with Suman to withdraw the complaint, and after much persuasion, Suman reluctantly backs down.
In the final moments, Gajendra Gupta arrives at the police station. He is furious at Teerth for going against Kritika. Suman, however, stands her ground and gives a sharp response to Gupta, leaving him speechless. Devika seizes the opportunity and provokes Gupta further, adding fuel to the ongoing conflict.
The episode ends with the tension between the two families growing even stronger.
