The episode begins with the police arriving to arrest Pradyumna. Arjun tells Pradyumna that the law will punish him for his wrongdoings. Kaashvi adds that Pradyumna won’t be able to harm anyone anymore. However, Pradyumna disagrees and hands over a pendrive to the police inspector. He claims that the video on the pendrive proves Karun killed someone. The police inspector watches the video, and Kaashvi tries to defend Karun, saying it was just an accident. But the inspector informs her that they must arrest Karun. The police officers then take both Pradyumna and Karun away.

Later, the police inspector tells Kaashvi that Karun is responsible for Mohan’s accident and they cannot overlook that. Kaashvi begs the officer not to send Karun to jail, but the inspector replies that he has already contacted the juvenile home authorities. Karun, scared and upset, clings to Kaashvi and asks her to save him like she always has. Meera steps in, comforting Karun by assuring him that his parents will save him. She takes him away from Kaashvi, who is left in tears.

Arjun tries to console Kaashvi, promising her that they will do everything they can to keep Karun out of jail. He suggests they should talk to the juvenile home officials. Soon after, the juvenile home staff review the video, and Arjun argues that Karun’s actions weren’t murder. However, the juvenile officer informs them that the final decision will be made in two days. In the meantime, they take Karun into their custody. Arjun reassures Kaashvi, telling her they will hire the best lawyer to fight for Karun.

Two days later, Kaashvi and Arjun meet with their lawyer, urging him to save Karun. The lawyer assures them he will do his best. Karun, visibly shaken, hugs Kaashvi. She encourages him to stay strong and not cry. Arjun promises Karun that he will be home soon. However, the lawyer reminds them that the decision ultimately depends on the judge. Kaashvi expresses concern that Meera hasn’t shown up yet, and they all head inside the courtroom.

In court, Karun’s lawyer defends him, but the prosecutor paints a different picture. He calls Karun’s teachers and principal to the witness stand, who all give statements against Karun, stating that he isn’t as innocent as he appears. The judge listens carefully and concludes that Karun deserves to be sent to the juvenile home.

At this moment, Karun’s lawyer calls Meera to the witness stand. Meera tells the judge that Karun isn’t responsible for Mohan’s death. She reveals that Mohan actually died due to a short-circuit caused by electric current, not because of Karun’s actions. The judge, after considering this new information, decides to release Karun. Karun, relieved, hugs both Kaashvi and Arjun as the background music plays.

After the court case, Kaashvi and Arjun thank Meera for her help. Meera, in return, says Karun is her son too. However, she hands divorce papers to Arjun, making it clear that she won’t change her decision to end the marriage. She adds that she plans to give birth to her baby in Delhi. Before leaving, Meera hugs Kaashvi and tells both Kaashvi and Arjun to always stay together. She also tells Karun to take care of himself before she walks away.

Fast forward six months later, Meera is seen taking care of her newborn. Vikram informs her about Kaashvi going into labor. Meanwhile, Kaashvi gives birth to a baby girl. The doctor congratulates Arjun and Kaashvi, and the nurse hands the baby to Arjun. Karun later enters the room, and Arjun gives the baby to him. Karun asks about the baby’s name, and Arjun proudly says that his daughter’s name is Chahat. Kaashvi explains that Chahat is a symbol of her and Arjun’s deep love, or “Chahatein.” The family shares a heartfelt hug as the title song plays in the background, marking the end of the show.
