On the day of the episode, the drama unfolds with Lavanya telling Rajat about Sanjay’s invitation for dinner. She shares that Sanjay plans to cook for her. Rajat is impressed by Sanjay’s efforts. Lavanya, however, admits that it’s difficult for her to move on from her past, but she feels Sanjay was sent by God to replace Rajat in her life. Rajat smiles at her words. He then starts looking for a gift to give to Sanjay as a gesture of appreciation.

At the same time, Lavanya remembers Gini telling her about Baani’s growing suspicion regarding Rajat. Baani had seen Lavanya’s earrings and started doubting Rajat. Lavanya, who is still in love with Rajat, becomes determined to separate him from Baani. She is convinced she loves Rajat too much to let him go. As Rajat selects a gift, Lavanya thanks him, but her true intentions are hidden.

At the Khanna house, Gini feels guilty and apologizes to Baani. She even asks Baani to slap her to express her regret. Baani, being calm, assures Gini that everything is fine. On the other hand, Bhishan taunts Poonam, blaming her for Baani’s stress. Poonam also feels upset and responsible. Gini, still trying to fix things, asks Baani where Rajat is. She reveals that she checked with Rajat’s office and learned that Rajat left on time. This news shocks Baani.

Later, Baani informs Rajat that Bebe’s surgery is scheduled for the next day, and she has taken a leave to be with her. Rajat advises her not to stress and assures her that he will also accompany Bebe to the hospital. However, things take a turn when Baani finds a lipstick stain on Rajat’s shirt. She immediately questions him about it. Rajat is confused and tries to explain that he has no idea how the stain got there.

Baani doesn’t believe him and leaves the room, visibly upset. Rajat feels hurt by Baani’s behavior but soon realizes that the lipstick mark is because of Gini. Meanwhile, Gini, who overheard their conversation, rushes to inform Lavanya about the growing misunderstanding between Rajat and Baani. Lavanya is pleased with Gini’s news and praises her. She even shares her next plan with Gini, who finds it brilliant.

Feeling frustrated, Baani vents to Navjyot about Rajat’s actions. Navjyot advises her to confront Rajat and ask him directly about his relationship with Lavanya. However, Baani refuses, saying she is confused because Rajat has done so much for her and her family. Navjyot suggests that Lavanya might be trying to win Rajat back and urges Baani again to speak with him. But Baani remains hesitant.

That night, Baani notices Lavanya’s name flashing on Rajat’s phone. She pretends to be asleep as Rajat steps outside to take the call. Lavanya tells him that her engagement with Sanjay has been fixed, and the proposal is happening the next day. She requests Rajat to handle the decorations for the event. Rajat tries to persuade her to reconsider but eventually agrees to help her.

The next day, Rajat, Baani, and the rest of the family encourage Bebe not to worry about her surgery. After taking her to the hospital, Baani overhears Rajat speaking with Shanky about Lavanya’s engagement preparations. She misunderstands the conversation and assumes that Rajat is going to meet Lavanya. Lavanya, in the meantime, gifts Gini an expensive bracelet, thanking her for her help.

Once Bebe’s surgery is done, Rajat decides to leave the hospital to assist Shanky with the engagement arrangements. Baani is furious but holds back her emotions, convinced that Rajat is lying and going to meet Lavanya.

In the precap, Navjyot forces Baani to come with her to uncover the truth about Rajat and Lavanya’s relationship. At the same time, Lavanya puts on an act in front of Rajat by hugging him. Gini, hiding nearby, takes a picture of them, adding fuel to the fire.
