The episode opens with Vicky and Adi having an important conversation. Vicky asks Adi a thought-provoking question. He wonders why Adi can’t make the same sacrifice for Kavya’s happiness as Vicky is willing to make. Vicky encourages Adi to try and reunite with Kavya. The two share an emotional moment as Adi hugs Vicky and thanks him. Vicky even offers to help Adi in any way he can. Adi replies that there is indeed something Vicky can do, but he doesn’t reveal what it is yet.
Meanwhile, Seema and Manoj are also up to something. Seema shows Manoj some photos that link the godown owner and Giriraj Pradhan together. She asks Manoj to send these photos to Kavya but instructs him to make sure it’s not sent from his phone. Manoj agrees to the plan. He then informs Seema that he has learned Adi accompanied Kavya to the godown. Seema is pleased and says that this could create a conflict between Adi and Giriraj, which she sees as a positive development.
In another scene, the office peon approaches Kavya and offers to help her with her work. He asks if the files she’s holding are the ones she took from the record room. Kavya becomes suspicious and questions how he knows about the files. The peon explains that he saw her taking them earlier. Kavya sarcastically asks why he didn’t help at that time, but she dismisses him quickly.
Later, the peon goes to Giriraj and informs him that Kavya has been looking at some files. Giriraj asks which files, but the peon says he didn’t see them because Kavya became suspicious. Giriraj is upset and scolds the peon for his failure. Unbeknownst to them, Kavya overhears their conversation.
Later on, the peon brings coffee to Kavya, clearly looking for a chance to snoop around. Adi arrives at that moment and confronts the peon, asking what he’s doing. The peon quickly makes up an excuse, but Adi isn’t convinced and sends him away. After the peon leaves, Adi warns Kavya to be careful around him, saying he doesn’t trust the peon. Kavya agrees, revealing that the peon is actually an informant for Giriraj Pradhan. She also tells Adi that Giriraj and Seema have worked on several projects together, and it’s very likely that Giriraj is involved in the fake medicines scam.
Anjali, another key character, meets with Malini to discuss Kavya’s engagement to Vicky. Anjali believes that Kavya shouldn’t marry Vicky and that something must be done to bring Adi and Kavya together. They both agree to take action soon.
At Kavya’s home, Bebe arrives and gives Kavya some bangles, expressing her happiness about the upcoming wedding. Kavya, however, pulls Vicky aside and asks why Bebe is there. Vicky explains that it wasn’t his idea to bring her; it was Rajiv’s doing. Kavya worries that Bebe might insist on a quick marriage, but Vicky reassures her. He says he already handled the situation by paying the Pandit to delay the wedding. The Pandit then reads Vicky and Kavya’s horoscopes and advises them not to marry for the next six months, saying their marriage would be unhappy if they rush it. While Rajiv dismisses the warning, Bebe takes it seriously and insists on waiting.
Later, Anjali arrives at the house and confronts Rajiv about the wedding plans. She accuses him of trying to marry Kavya off without telling anyone. Rajiv responds sarcastically and accuses her of visiting Malini. Anjali admits to the visit, saying it was necessary. Rajiv and Vicky then start criticizing Adi. Kavya intervenes, saying there’s no need to scold someone who isn’t even present. She leaves the room upset.
In a flashback, Adi had asked Vicky to scold him in front of Kavya to gauge her reaction. Vicky calls Adi afterward and reports that Kavya defended Adi and then left the room.
Rajiv then tells Kavya to assure Anjali that she will never return to Adi. Rajiv continues to criticize Adi, and Vicky joins in. However, Kavya defends Adi, listing the many good things he has done for her and her family.
Meanwhile, Malini asks Adi what he’s investigating. Adi reveals that Kavya suspects Giriraj and Seema are involved in shady activities, and he’s looking into it.
The episode ends on a shocking note as Adi is revealed to be dead. In the precap, Vicky tells Kavya that she’s too late.
