The episode begins with Kalyani’s neighbors congratulating her on the arrival of her daughter-in-law, Abhay’s wife. A maid informs Kalyani that the new Bahu (daughter-in-law) is waiting outside. Excitedly, everyone rushes to meet her, but when they step outside, no one is there. Kalyani tells the women that she has not accepted the Bahu yet because her son was forcefully married. The other women suggest that Kalyani will have to accept her daughter-in-law, even if the marriage was forced. However, Kalyani dismisses them, saying she will handle her family matters on her own.

After the neighbors leave, Kalyani scolds the maid for calling the new girl her Bahu. She then calls Ganga and begins scolding her too. Ritika, another character, asks Ganga why she hid from everyone. Ritika believes this would have been the perfect moment for Ganga to reveal herself to everyone. Ganga responds by saying that Kalyani hasn’t accepted her as her Bahu yet. Ritika, upset, accuses Ganga of taking money, but Ganga explains that she only did so to protect the sacred Tulsi tree.

Meanwhile, Lalita, another key character, asks Pandit ji about Ritu’s whereabouts. Pandit ji reveals that Ritu has run away from home. He spreads this rumor, causing others to start asking questions about Ganga as well. Pandit ji then mentions to the others that it is a good thing Kalyani doesn’t have Lalita’s daughter as her Bahu. Meanwhile, Mama informs Lalita that he has found some information about Ritu’s location. Lalita quickly leaves with Mama to search for her daughter.

On the other side, Akshay asks Ritu why she looks so upset. He reassures her that he can do anything for her. Hema interrupts and informs Akshay that she has arranged tickets to Vaishno Devi for them and they need to leave soon. However, Ritu refuses to go anywhere without speaking to her mother first. At that moment, Mama and Lalita arrive at Akshay’s house to search for Ritu.

In another twist, Sakshi calls Abhay and tells him about the video footage of his marriage. This shatters Ritu when she watches the video, leaving her heartbroken.

Lalita and Mama arrive at Akshay’s house. Lalita is shocked to see Akshay and learns from Ritu that she has already married him. This news causes Lalita to faint, and she collapses to the ground.

Elsewhere, Ganga falls unconscious due to a high fever. Abhay’s father notices her condition and, with the help of the maid, decides to take her inside the house. As Ganga is brought in, Kalyani watches, confused, and questions her husband about what is going on. Kalyani’s husband explains that Ganga has a high fever and needs medical help. Despite her frustration, Kalyani tells him to take Ganga to the hospital. Her husband asks their helper, Bindya, to take Ganga to the guest room to rest instead.

Back at Akshay’s house, Lalita regains consciousness and slaps Ritu in anger. Akshay steps in, firmly telling Lalita that she cannot slap his wife because he is now Ritu’s husband. Lalita, furious, calls Akshay an imposter and tries to wipe off Ritu’s vermilion, but the episode ends on a tense note.

Precap: Lalita arrives at Akshay’s house with the police. Akshay refuses to acknowledge Kalyani as his mother. Kalyani, with a heavy heart, tells Akshay that she will wait for him.
