The episode begins with Rajesh complaining to Anurag’s family. He says that he saw Anurag playing the flute in the rain, while Durga danced to its tune. Madhav seems surprised and asks why no one informed him about Anurag’s return. Panibai, trying to understand the situation, asks Rajesh what he means by all this. Rajesh admits that he, too, is confused. He explains that he told Anurag it was wrong for him to be so close to a servant like Durga. Panibai then questions Rajesh about Durga’s whereabouts. Rajesh tells her that he asked Durga to come with him. He didn’t want the villagers to see her wet and riding on Anurag’s bike, which could lead to gossip.
Meanwhile, Anurag reassures Durga not to worry. But Durga expresses her concern, saying that he always gets scolded because of her. Anurag brushes it off, telling her that he doesn’t mind because he loves her. Panibai starts to think that if Rajesh saw Anurag and Durga together, then the villagers might have seen them too. She decides she needs to teach Durga a lesson.
Anurag’s mother tries to defend them. She explains that maybe they were just seeking shelter from the rain, and Durga could have been dancing because she was happy about coming first in the district. But Panibai is not convinced. She criticizes Vikram’s wife and Savitri, saying their brains are in their legs. Savitri fires back at Panibai’s insult, but Panibai continues, saying that if Anurag and Durga are seen together like this, Anurag’s reputation will be ruined. She blames Durga for the situation. After that, Rajesh leaves.
Later, Anurag and Durga return home and notice Rajesh’s jeep parked outside. Anurag tells Durga that Rajesh has probably come to complain about them. Rajesh walks up to them and asks Anurag why he hasn’t left yet since the rain has already stopped. Anurag responds coldly, saying he doesn’t owe him an explanation. Rajesh makes a comment and leaves.
When they reach the doorstep, Panibai opens the door and welcomes Anurag inside. He greets her and all the family members. After this, Panibai turns her attention to Durga. She asks Durga why she is so late in coming home. Durga remembers Anurag’s plan and tells Panibai that she had gone to the sacred tree to tie a sacred thread since she came first in the district. She adds that she met Anurag there, and they were caught in the sudden rain, so they took shelter.
Panibai is not fully satisfied with her answer and asks what happened after that. Anurag steps in and explains that everyone knows how much Durga loves dancing in the first rain of the season. He admits that he played the flute for her at that moment. Hearing this, Panibai instructs Madhav to take Anurag away. Madhav agrees and takes him away from the situation.
Once Anurag is gone, Panibai confronts Durga. She tells her that she does not approve of her relationship with Anurag. Indira also questions Durga, asking if she danced in the rain because it was the first of the season or because Anurag was with her. Durga insists that her love for dancing in the rain is well-known and not related to Anurag’s presence. Savitri steps in and tells Durga to go freshen up, and Durga leaves the room.
In another scene, Madhav talks to Anurag. He says they should enjoy their time with the family now, but everyone will eventually leave again, including Anurag. Anurag agrees and mentions that he has to leave for the sake of his career.
