In the episode aired on September 25, 2024, Anupama opens up to Anuj about her frustration. She shares that she always tries to keep everyone happy, but no one seems to value her efforts. She expresses that she is exhausted from constantly being tested by life. Anupama wonders why she has to suffer even though she never does anything wrong to others. She then mentions that Anuj, along with everyone else, hid the truth about Meenu and Sagar’s affair. Anupama feels that Meenu and Sagar made a mistake by not telling her earlier. She believes things would have been different if they had been honest from the start. Anupama blames them for keeping her in the dark.

Anuj, noticing Anupama’s distress, asks if she is upset because Meenu and Sagar fell in love without her approval. Anupama is taken aback by his question and is left stunned. Meanwhile, Dolly decides to get Meenu married to someone else. She believes it’s for the best and warns Meenu not to think about Sagar anymore. Leela supports Dolly and also warns Meenu to forget Sagar.

However, Anuj sees things differently. He tells Anupama that Meenu and Sagar belong to the younger generation, and they should have the right to choose their partners. Anuj defends their love and insists that despite their social status differences, their feelings for each other should be respected. He asks Anupama to understand their situation and support them.

Sagar is worried about how Anupama will react and fears she might cut ties with him. His friend Bala tries to console him. At the same time, Paritosh and Pakhi are seen instigating Sagar. Paritosh talks about creating a profile for Meenu on a matrimonial site, which annoys Sagar. He firmly states that no one else can love Meenu like he does and that he is the only one who can give her the respect she deserves. Paritosh, however, doesn’t believe that Anupama will support their relationship. Despite this, Sagar says he will accept whatever decision Anupama makes.

Anupama, reflecting on the situation, admits that Dolly is not entirely wrong for rejecting Sagar as a potential partner for her daughter. After all, as a mother, Dolly wants what is best for Meenu. However, Anuj counters by saying that Dolly should not ignore Meenu’s feelings. He insists that Meenu and Sagar have the right to choose each other. Anupama agrees that family consent is important, but she seems conflicted.

Dolly, determined to change Meenu’s mind, tries to convince her to stop thinking about love marriage. Leela also steps in, advising Meenu that love marriages often don’t work. Meenu, however, argues that even arranged marriages can fail. She makes a firm decision that if Dolly forces her to marry someone else, she will run away and hide, just like Adhya did.

In another scene, Anupama asks Anuj to help her take her mind off things. Anuj, taking the moment to express his feelings, confesses his love for her and proposes marriage. Meanwhile, Paritosh and Pakhi are busy discussing jewelry, showing little care for the situation at hand. This irritates Kinjal, who scolds them, reminding them to have some shame. She warns that if they don’t, Anupama will surely teach them a lesson.

Despite Anuj’s heartfelt proposal, Anupama is overwhelmed by memories of her traumatic past. She refuses to marry him, still haunted by what she has been through. Anuj tries to explain the importance of marriage and urges her to reconsider.

In the precap, Anupama finally takes a stand in support of Meenu and Sagar. Dolly, however, questions Anupama’s decision to support a relationship between Meenu and an autodriver like Sagar.
