The episode starts with Mrinalini inviting Lalon to stay with them. She mentions that she has taken leave from school, and they all should spend time together. However, Lalon has other plans. He has been busy preparing a small pandal for the Durga idol. After completing the task, Lalon bids farewell to his grandmother, who playfully advises him not to take Rumi’s words seriously. Lalon smiles and says that Appu never shows favoritism. He adds that if she did, she wouldn’t have married him.
Meanwhile, Bablu points out that Lalon used to live in a much larger house before. Choton jokingly suggests that maybe Lalon will get his home back the next day. Shubh, however, seems uninterested in the discussion and tells Rumi and Tanuja to go to their rooms. The others also leave soon after. Dadi then announces that it’s time for the ritual, and Anjana performs Appu’s aarti.
On the film set, Jhanak is preparing for her shot. When she arrives, Aditya’s face brightens up upon seeing her. He compliments her and mentions that they have an upcoming romantic scene. For the scene’s authenticity, Aditya suggests Jhanak imagine Anirudh as her romantic interest. Jhanak playfully responds, hinting that his words have caused some unintended pain. Feeling guilty, Aditya quickly apologizes, and they move on to begin shooting.
Meanwhile, Choton takes Mrinalini to school. She tells him that it wasn’t necessary for him to do so. Choton explains that he got an urgent call from her school and wanted to help. Mrinalini, however, retorts that she goes to school alone every day. Choton teases her, saying that she is more sensible than him, as he considers himself uneducated and foolish. They share some lighthearted banter as they walk together. Choton also mentions that Anjana sent them out to chat and catch up. He cryptically adds that one day, Mrinalini will understand the favor he did for her.
Back on the film set, Jhanak and Aditya finish their scene. In a moment of intensity, Jhanak accidentally calls out Anirudh’s name loudly, disrupting the scene. The director praises their performance but points out that Jhanak’s slip-up ruined the shot. Jhanak quickly apologizes for the mistake, but Aditya reassures her that she did a great job. The director informs them that they will have to reshoot the scene. Aditya suggests taking a short break before continuing, and the director agrees.
Returning to the conversation between Choton and Mrinalini, she questions whether he really used the word “love” earlier. Choton awkwardly apologizes for revealing his feelings. Mrinalini seems confused, wondering if it was just a slip of the tongue. Choton admits that he finds her kind and respectable, but he is puzzled as to why she would ever consider marrying him. Mrinalini, on the other hand, begins to understand that Choton shies away from responsibility and lacks the courage to commit fully. He defends himself by pointing out his lack of financial stability.
At this point, Mrinalini emphasizes that it’s not just money that matters in life—having a heart is just as important. She bluntly asks if love can provide food and happiness. Choton, however, finally confesses his love for her. His confession leaves Mrinalini completely taken aback.
Back on set, Jhanak and Aditya perform their scene again. This time, their performance is flawless, and they receive applause from the entire crew. The director praises Jhanak’s emotional depth, while Aditya also compliments her.
Meanwhile, at home, Lalon announces his plan to leave with Appu. However, Bablu insists that they stay for the upcoming ritual. Tanuja asks whether the house truly belongs to them. Anjana confirms that everyone has an equal right to live there. But Bipasha mocks Anjana’s words, leading to a tense argument. Bablu steps in, escorting Lalon and Appu away to another room. However, Anirudh insists that they all talk openly, in front of everyone, about what’s been happening.
In a surprising turn of events, Arshi declares that she’s finally leaving the house for good. Anirudh is visibly upset by her decision.
