The latest episode begins with Mangal inquiring about Kusum’s well-being. Mangal expresses her concern, saying, “I gave my chunri to that lady because her blouse tore.” Kusum responds, “I told that woman everything.” Curiosity piqued, Mangal asks Kusum what she shared. However, just as Kusum is about to speak, the aarti for Mahadev begins. Mangal, wanting to participate, pulls Kusum with her into the mandir.
While inside, Kusum tries to reveal the troubling news about Adit’s affair with Soumya, but the loud noise makes it impossible for Mangal to hear her. As they join the aarti, sindoor falls from Shiv’s feet onto Mangal’s maang, which she interprets as a good sign from God. Feeling hopeful, she prays for her married life to flourish. An elderly lady near Mangal reassures her, stating that her wishes will soon be granted.
Meanwhile, Soumya is taking steps to separate Adit from Mangal. She slyly places divorce papers in Adit’s bag, hoping that once Adit gets Mangal’s signature, he will marry her instead. In a different scene, Lakshmi spots Daksh in the market. Curious and concerned, she approaches him and questions whether he is truly Soumya’s boyfriend. Daksh, aware of the curious onlookers, admits that he was acting on the advice of Soumya’s actual boyfriend, who had paid him to pretend.
Lakshmi is determined to get to the bottom of this and demands Daksh reveal the identity of Soumya’s real boyfriend. Just then, Daksh spots a constable approaching and, in a panic, pushes Lakshmi aside before fleeing the scene.
Back at home, Sudesh asks Kusum whether she told Mangal the truth. Kusum reveals that she attempted to speak twice, but the opportunity never arose. She expresses her fear that if Mangal learns of Adit’s affair, she might leave home. Kusum is deeply worried that this situation will ruin their grandchildren’s lives. She pleads with Sudesh, asking if he wants Mangal and Adit to separate. Sudesh insists he doesn’t wish for their family to break apart. Kusum, hopeful, assures him that Adit will change if given some time. After a brief discussion, Sudesh agrees with Kusum’s perspective.
Just then, Mangal enters, announcing that she has made arrangements for the pooja. Kusum encourages Mangal to get ready, and Mangal leaves to prepare.
In another twist, Soumya is confident that her plan will work. She believes that once Adit gets Mangal’s signature on the divorce papers, they can be together. Later, Adit arrives home and tells Kusum that he has returned just in time for the pooja. He heads off to get ready. While in his room, Adit calls Soumya, expressing his frustration over the rituals and how tired he feels. Soumya reassures him, telling him not to worry. She reminds him that she has placed the divorce papers in his bag.
However, chaos ensues when Akshat opens Adit’s bag searching for his drawing book and accidentally spills water on it. Mangal notices the papers and instinctively cleans them. Adit later comes into the hall, retrieves the damp divorce papers from Mangal, and speaks to her with a calm demeanor. Kusum observes this interaction and tells Sudesh that Adit seems to be changing for the better.
Afterward, Adit carefully places the divorce papers back into his bag, but one paper slips from his hand and falls to the floor. Meanwhile, Gayatri hears Karthik’s car and realizes he has returned home. She pretends to be busy in the kitchen but feels dizzy while preparing the prashad. Karthik notices and asks why she didn’t ask Lakshmi for assistance. Gayatri explains that Lakshmi is still out in the market. Karthik expresses disappointment that Lakshmi did not stay to help his mother.
Later, Adit, still on the phone with Soumya, tells her not to add to his stress. He promises that he will find a way to get rid of Mangal once everything settles down. Soumya then plots to get Mangal’s signature without her knowledge.
The episode concludes with Lakshmi visiting Shanti’s house, where Shanti teases Lakshmi for causing trouble for Mangal. Lakshmi insists she never intended to create problems and vows to uncover the identity of Soumya’s real boyfriend. The stage is set for more drama and revelations in the next episode.
