The episode begins with Anirudhha facing a tough situation as his wife, Arshi, confronts him. Arshi firmly declares that she can no longer live in the same house. She expresses that it is impossible for her to continue their marriage, knowing about her husband’s involvement in an illegal relationship. Supporting Arshi’s decision, Tanuja and Shubha stand by her. Despite the intense confrontation, Anirudhha remains silent, choosing not to say anything in his defense.
Ani’s grandmother steps in, offering her advice to him. She tells Anirudhha that it’s not possible to sail two boats at the same time, hinting at his divided attention between his family and someone outside. She urges him to focus on his family instead of chasing after an outsider. The tension rises as everyone in the family blames Ani for his actions. Meanwhile, a different argument is brewing between Chhoton and Mrinalini as they sit in the car. Tensions rise when Chhoton openly admits his love for Meenu, causing an awkward moment between them. He confesses that he doesn’t expect anything from Mrinalini, which only makes her angrier. In response, Mrinalini tries to console him, saying that it isn’t necessary to have a job to live a fulfilling life.
However, Chhoton doesn’t want to stay any longer, but Meenu insists that he listen to her. She requests that he continue his graduation through distance education, which leaves Chhoton shocked. Meenu, now speaking in a softer tone, explains the reason behind her request. She wants him to be independent and build a better future for himself. Chhoton’s silence indicates that he agrees with her request, and Meenu feels relieved.
Back at the Bose family, they mock Jhanak’s illness, doubting the seriousness of her condition. Arshi and Shristi also question why Jhanak called Anirudhha to Mumbai in the first place. Defending himself again, Anirudhha insists that Jhanak was truly suffering from a critical illness and was hospitalized. He reassures his family that he will not break his promises this time, trying to regain their trust.
As the episode draws to a close, the family remains divided, and Anirudhha faces the consequences of his actions. The precap hints that in the next episode, Anirudhha will finally accept his office’s offer, with his wife standing by his side.
