The episode begins with Mangal receiving some papers from Adit. She doesn’t bother reading them and assumes they are just office papers. She tells Adit that these can’t be divorce papers and hands them back to him. Adit leaves quietly, taking the papers with him.
Later, Adit goes to his room and tears up the divorce papers. Just then, Sowmya calls him and asks if he got Mangal’s signature on the divorce papers. Adit informs her that he couldn’t get the signature as the papers got ruined. Sowmya, clearly frustrated, accuses him of making excuses. She then reveals that she already made two copies of the divorce papers and has his signature on both. Sowmya assures him that she will get Mangal’s signature and finalize the divorce soon.
Meanwhile, Kusum and Mangal break their fast after completing a ritual. They both praise each other for successfully completing the fast. During dinner, Akshat asks Ishana for her phone to check the meaning of the word “divorce.” Kusum becomes concerned and asks Akshat where he heard the word. Adit steps in, saying Akshat might have picked it up from a movie. Kusum warns Akshat not to say the word again, explaining that it’s a bad word. Akshat nods in agreement.
Sowmya is seen trying to contact Lipika, but Lipika doesn’t answer her call. Frustrated, Sowmya sends Lipika some compromising photos she had previously used to blackmail her. The moment Lipika sees the pictures, she panics and calls Sowmya. Lipika pleads with Sowmya to stop blackmailing her, reminding her that if she is exposed, Adit and Sowmya’s secret will also come out. But Sowmya isn’t swayed.
She coldly reads out Lipika’s private chats with her boyfriend, leaving Lipika in shock. Lipika accuses Sowmya of hacking her profile. Sowmya admits to it without hesitation and tells Lipika that she will go to any lengths to get what she wants. Lipika refuses to comply, but Sowmya crosses the line by sending Lipika’s compromising photos to Mangal right in front of her. Lipika is horrified at this betrayal.
In another part of the story, Lakshmi is deep in thought. She recalls everything Sowmya had said to her and grows suspicious. When she runs into Gayatri, she asks if she is heading somewhere. Gayatri confirms that both she and Karthik are going out. Lakshmi takes this opportunity to investigate Sowmya further.
Later, a group of women from the Sakhi Women NGO visits Adit’s house. They come to meet Mangal and offer her support. The NGO ladies explain that they help women who are victims of domestic violence. They assume that Mangal must have withdrawn her police complaint due to pressure and encourage her to consider divorcing Adit.
The women assure Mangal that they will help her through the process. However, Mangal firmly states that she is not a victim of domestic violence and that Adit has never hurt her physically. She tells the NGO ladies to leave, adding that if any issues arise, she and Kusum, her biggest support, will handle them together. The NGO women eventually leave, but the incident leaves Mangal disturbed.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi disguises herself as a maid at Sowmya’s office. She wears a mask to hide her face. Lakshmi stares at Sowmya’s feet, trying to confirm her suspicion, but the long dress Sowmya is wearing blocks her view. Sowmya quickly notices Lakshmi staring and confronts her. She demands to know who Lakshmi is and why she’s staring at her feet.
Lakshmi, pretending to be new, apologizes and falls at Sowmya’s feet, hoping to see both legs. However, she can only see one leg before the peon intervenes. He tells Lakshmi to let go of Sowmya’s leg and sends her away. Lakshmi realizes she still hasn’t confirmed her suspicion about Sowmya’s legs.
Back at home, Kusum tries to comfort Mangal, who is still troubled by her interaction with the Sakhi Women NGO. The mention of divorce continues to bother her.
The episode ends with Mangal deep in thought, reflecting on her encounter with the NGO ladies.
