The episode begins with Aaji in tears, feeling guilty about not being able to welcome Rannvijay properly. She apologizes to him and explains that Kailash’s earnings aren’t enough to support the household, which makes her feel helpless. Milind, standing nearby, questions why Aaji is telling this to an outsider. He reassures her that he could have taken care of everything if needed. However, Aaji quickly clarifies that Rannvijay is not an outsider. She reminds Milind that Rannvijay is now part of their family as Vaiju’s husband.
Milind, trying to focus on Vaiju’s future, gives her a book with ten years’ worth of previous exam questions. He asks her to study from it and leaves. Aaji then turns to Vaiju, telling her that since Rannvijay is her husband, she should eat from the same plate as him, as it is believed to increase the husband’s lifespan.
Vaiju, curious, asks if husbands can eat from their wives’ leftover plates too. To her surprise, Rannvijay steps in and says that if it helps increase Vaiju’s lifespan, he will happily eat her leftovers. He then sits beside her, takes a bite from her plate, and jokingly says that now both their lifespans have increased. Vaiju is deeply touched by his gesture and gazes at him, mesmerized by his words.
Meanwhile, Jaya is lost in thought. She remembers Sulekha’s earlier words about how Rannvijay’s behavior has changed since Vaiju entered his life. Rohan interrupts this moment by bringing tea for the family and chocolate milk for Arhaan, their younger sibling. Arhaan misses Vaiju and asks Rohan if he had called her. Jaya joins them, serving tea and attempting to lighten the mood. She encourages Arhaan to finish his milk, promising that Vaiju will return soon, knowing how much he loves her.
Later, Rannvijay teases Vaiju about the mosquitoes in her room. Vaiju responds that he had invited himself into her space. Rannvijay becomes more serious and tells her that he has come to correct her mistake. He believes she should have been honest with her family and told them about their one-sided relationship. Vaiju, however, refuses to listen to his comparison of everything to money. Their conversation takes a sharp turn as Rannvijay declares he will leave in the morning and promises not to recognize her if they ever meet again in the future. Deep down, he wonders if Vaiju will stop him from leaving.
In a sudden move, Rannvijay grabs his bag and decides to leave immediately instead of waiting until morning. Vaiju stops him, but only to say that he wouldn’t find any transport at that hour. She offers to call Milind to help him reach the bus stand. This response frustrates Rannvijay, as he hoped Vaiju would beg him to stay. Feeling annoyed, Rannvijay sits back down when Vaiju mispronounces some English words while studying. He starts helping her with the correct pronunciations for her exam the next day.
On the other side of the house, Jaya sits alone, feeling emotional as she misses Rannvijay. She hugs his pillow, yearning for his presence. In the meantime, as Rannvijay tutors Vaiju, she keeps glancing at him, overwhelmed by his patience and kindness.
Later in the night, Rannvijay wakes up to find Vaiju asleep beside him, holding his hand. Embarrassed, Vaiju apologizes for her actions, but Rannvijay reassures her, asking her to relax. In the early morning, Rannvijay prepares to leave once again. Before departing, he tells Vaiju that she should not have saved him in the past. Vaiju responds that she’s letting him go so he won’t feel burdened by the debt of her saving his life.
The episode ends on a bittersweet note, with Rannvijay reflecting on how their paths and stories will soon be separated, indicating the emotional distance growing between them.
