Still suspicious, Kaveri questions Abhira about the baby’s presence, but Abhira reassures her that she is clueless about how the baby got there.
After the puja, Kaveri tries to talk to the baby and asks about her family, but the baby begins to cry, seemingly frightened by Kaveri’s voice. Manisha whispers to Vidya that the baby might be scared because of Kaveri’s stern tone. Kaveri attempts to calm the baby down, but it is Arman who successfully consoles her. He discovers that the baby is mute, and both Abhira and Kaveri feel sympathy for the child’s situation.
Kaveri instructs Madhav to take the baby to the police station, assuming it would be the best way to handle the situation.
