The episode of Yeh Hai Chahatein 5th September 2024 begins with Arjun, who is deeply troubled by Kaashvi’s decision to stay with Pradyumna. Arjun is baffled, thinking how Kaashvi can still choose to stay with Pradyumna even after discovering the shocking truth. He suspects that Pradyumna might be blackmailing Kaashvi, which is why she is forced to stay. On the other hand, Kaashvi is struggling with her emotions, knowing that she is doing all this to protect Karun, a loved one.
In a flashback, Kaashvi is shown arriving at the clinic where she is determined to uncover the truth about Pradyumna’s intentions. At the same time, Pradyumna is seen talking to Neelam, telling her that Kaashvi has discovered Neelam’s photo in his room. However, Pradyumna assures her that Swati has taken care of the situation, and there’s nothing to worry about.
Neelam, full of confidence, responds by saying that Kaashvi is not intelligent enough to uncover their actual plan. Pradyumna then reveals a sinister detail — he is only with Kaashvi because of her child. He plans to take the child once Kaashvi gives birth and then leave her. Neelam, who cannot have children herself, expresses her happiness at this plan, stating that Kaashvi’s child will complete their family. Pradyumna’s deceitful intentions are clear now: he never cared for Kaashvi; he only wants her child for Neelam.
Kaashvi, who was secretly listening to their conversation, is left in utter shock. She steps forward and confronts Pradyumna, demanding to know what he is planning. She accuses him of being heartless and questions how he could even think of stealing her child. Realizing that she has been betrayed, she admits that Arjun was right all along, and she had been foolish to trust Pradyumna over him.
Determined to expose Pradyumna, Kaashvi declares that she will tell everyone the truth. However, Pradyumna remains calm and confident. He coldly reminds her that she can’t do anything against him. When Kaashvi tries to show bravery by saying that she is not afraid of him, Pradyumna brings up Karun’s name. He threatens Kaashvi, saying that if she exposes him, he will ensure that Karun is sent to juvenile detention because, according to him, Karun is a murderer.
Kaashvi refuses to believe Pradyumna and accuses him of lying. But Pradyumna drops another bombshell — he tells her that Arjun did not marry Meera out of love. In fact, it was Karun who accidentally caused Mohan’s death, which forced Vikram to pressure Arjun into marrying Meera. Pradyumna adds that Meera is pregnant with Mohan’s child, which shocks Kaashvi even more.
Upon hearing this, Kaashvi realizes that she has misunderstood Arjun once again. She feels guilty for believing Pradyumna and not trusting Arjun. But before she can react, Pradyumna warns her to stay quiet, adding that he is glad Neelam can now live freely in his house.
Kaashvi, terrified for Karun’s safety, agrees to Pradyumna’s demands. She promises not to tell anyone about his plan but makes it clear that she will not give up her child. Pradyumna, however, is insistent and demands her child at any cost, threatening once again to send Karun to juvenile detention if she disobeys him. Helpless, Kaashvi nods and leaves, determined to protect Karun, even if it means sacrificing her own happiness.
Back in the present, Kaashvi is torn between her duty to protect Karun and the emotional burden of staying with Pradyumna. She keeps reminding herself that Karun’s safety and happiness are her priority. At that moment, Pradyumna approaches Kaashvi, asking her what she told Arjun. Kaashvi lies, saying that she hasn’t met Arjun, but Pradyumna shows her CCTV footage that proves otherwise. Kaashvi admits that Arjun already knows everything and had come to warn her. This leaves Pradyumna wondering how Arjun could have discovered the truth.
Pradyumna, growing suspicious, confronts Neelam and starts questioning her. While going through her shopping bag, he finds a hidden spy camera. He then connects the dots and realizes that Arjun is the one who planted the camera and uncovered his secret. Furious, Pradyumna decides to confront Arjun.
The next day, Pradyumna heads to the shopping mall, where he learns that Arjun has been behind everything from the beginning. Meanwhile, Mahendra informs Arjun and Kaashvi about a new crisis — they have received intelligence about possible terrorist activities during an upcoming minister’s visit. In another flashback, Arjun is shown talking to Jagadish, requesting his help to bring down Pradyumna. In the present, Arjun is confident that no one will suspect Jagadish’s involvement.
