The episode of Megha Barsenge 6th September 2024, begins with an emotionally charged confrontation between Megha and Manoj. Megha, curious about Manoj’s sudden wealth, asks him how he managed to gather 10 lakhs despite claiming that he had invested all his money in his store. Manoj, trying to win her trust, expresses his genuine love for her, insisting that everything they shared was real. He breaks down in tears, and Megha, sensing his vulnerability, wipes away his tears and tells him that she wants to visit his store.
In an attempt to reassure her, Manoj agrees and takes her to the store. As they arrive, Megha is pleasantly surprised to see a name board with her name on it. Manoj asks her if she is happy, and she responds affirmatively, genuinely touched by the gesture. Manoj, eager to please her further, makes her sit at the billing counter and lovingly declares her the “malkin” (owner) of the store. As a romantic gesture, he places a flower crown on her head, symbolizing her newfound authority. He then suggests sending a video of this moment to Surendar, their mutual acquaintance, to showcase Megha’s happiness and success.
Manoj, holding the camera, records Megha, asking her to show off the store to Surendar. Although she complies and records the store, it is evident that Manoj is using her for his own motives. Once the recording is done, Manoj steps aside to take a phone call. During this brief moment, customers approach Megha, asking her about the billing amount. Confused and unsure of what to do, Megha tells them to wait. She then heads over to Manoj, who is still on the phone, and asks whom he is talking to.
Manoj, slightly agitated by her question, reminds her that he had a life before meeting her. He pleads with her, saying that he cannot live without her trust and support. He begs her not to make his life harder and assures her that he truly loves her and would never betray her. Feeling guilty and concerned, Megha promises to support him in any way she can. Manoj, relieved by her words, thanks her, and together they manage to send the customers away.
Later, Manoj gifts Megha a new dress, asking her to wear it so they can go out together. He tells her that since they never got the chance to go on a honeymoon, they will celebrate it now. Megha, trusting his intentions, agrees, and the couple sets off to various scenic spots where Manoj clicks several pictures of her, creating memories. Everything seems perfect until Manoj leaves Megha alone for a moment.
While waiting for Manoj to return, Megha almost loses her balance and is about to fall when Arjun, another character in the series, saves her. Surprised, Megha asks Arjun why he is there. Arjun tells her that he has been trying to contact her through calls and messages, but she never responded.
Just then, Manoj reappears and, with a smug smile, tells Arjun that Megha was simply too engrossed in his love to reply. He casually hugs Arjun and thanks him for looking out for Megha in his absence. Manoj even invites Arjun to join them for dinner, but Arjun politely declines, saying he’ll join another time, and leaves. After Arjun’s departure, Manoj tells Megha that Arjun is a good person, to which she agrees and hugs him.
Meanwhile, in a separate storyline, Riya encounters Sikandar, a man who makes her extremely uncomfortable. When Riya accidentally bumps into him, Sikandar asks her if she is alright. Riya, terrified by his presence, accuses him of following her. Sikandar denies this but then says something that unsettles her even more – he tells her that he was merely “smelling” her. He demands her to give him her dupatta. When Riya threatens to call Kirpal for help, Sikandar dismisses the threat, calling Kirpal useless. He then makes a disturbing promise, saying that he will treat her like a queen if she complies. Frightened, Riya runs away, and as she does, Sikandar screams after her, saying he will call her. Shaken by the encounter, Riya breaks down and tells Ranjeeta what happened. Ranjeeta, clearly concerned, listens intently as Riya explains how Sikandar had been following her.
Back at the restaurant, Manoj and Megha continue their day together. However, things take a surprising turn when Megha notices Manoj missing. As she searches for him, she witnesses a shocking scene. Manoj is talking to another woman who confronts him about money. Manoj, attempting to calm the situation, tells the woman that he loves her and places a kiss on her forehead. Megha, stunned and heartbroken, watches the scene unfold before her eyes.
The episode ends with Megha confronting Manoj, demanding an explanation about the mysterious woman. Manoj, caught in the act, simply tells her that the woman is a friend.
Precap: In the upcoming episode, Megha continues to question Manoj about the woman, but Manoj insists that she is just a friend. Will Megha see through Manoj’s lies, or will she continue to be manipulated?
