In today’s episode of Anupama, which aired on 20th September 2024, Anupama finds herself thinking about Paritosh and Pakhi. Both Pakhi and Paritosh express their frustration, saying Anupama keeps surprising them with her actions. The episode begins with Pakhi, worried about being stuck in the rain. She urges Paritosh to do something as she doesn’t know how much longer she can survive the weather. In response, Paritosh reveals that he has Vanraj’s credit card with him. This sparks an idea, and they decide to use the card to spend money. Pakhi and Paritosh take shelter at a hotel, seeking comfort and convenience.
Meanwhile, Anupama wakes up the rest of the Shah family. She tries to console Hasmuk and Leela, who seem upset. Amidst all this, Meenu is busy looking for her hair clip. Sagar, one of the household members, steps in to help Meenu. In the kitchen, Kinjal prepares breakfast for everyone. Adhya assists the children, including Ansh, Ishani, Mahi, and Pari, as they get ready for the day and take a shower. As the family starts their morning routine, Indra asks Hasmuk and Leela to start the daily aarti (prayer). Initially, Leela hesitates but eventually, with Anuj’s encouragement, she takes the lead. Together, Hasmuk and Leela perform the aarti, praying for their family’s well-being.
On the other side, Anuj faces a tough time in his career. He struggles to find a job, and Anupama notices his frustration as he prepares for job interviews. Anuj reaches out to Anupama, asking for her advice. He tells her that a rival company has offered him a job, which puts him in a difficult position. Anupama questions if he would feel comfortable working for a rival company.
However, Anuj, determined to provide for his family, including Anupama, Adhya, and Mahi, says that he has no choice. He goes as far as saying that he will feel like dying if he doesn’t have work. Anupama, concerned, tells him to stop talking like that. Despite the challenges, Anuj vows to win back Anupama’s heart, although she feels he has already impressed her. Anuj, unaware of what she’s thinking, asks her what she said. Meanwhile, Anupama decides to sell pickles and papad (Indian snacks) to a nearby hotel as a way to contribute to the family income.
In another part of the house, Leela has her own set of worries. She requests Bala to keep some gold and in return, receive ration for the family. Bala reassures her, telling Leela not to think of them as a burden and that he will manage the situation. Meanwhile, Dimple and Dolly, who are living at Asha Bhawan, express their frustration. Dolly, upset with her current situation, decides that she wants to go to the USA after claiming her share of the family’s wealth. Kinjal and Leela overhear this and make sarcastic remarks, taunting both Dolly and Dimple.
As the episode progresses, Kinjal learns that Pakhi and Paritosh are enjoying themselves at the hotel. She is not happy about this and feels that they will have to face consequences soon. Leela, still in charge of household chores, asks Dimple and Dolly to help with chopping vegetables. However, they both refuse and start throwing tantrums. Anupama steps in and firmly tells Dimple and Dolly to get to work.
A dramatic scene unfolds when Nandita is about to fall, and Titu comes to her aid. Dimple, in a fit of anger, slaps Nandita and accuses her of trying to attract Titu. Anupama intervenes and gives Dimple a stern reality check, telling her that her behavior is unacceptable. Dimple, still angry, accuses Anupama of betraying the members of Asha Bhawan one day. The situation escalates when Anupama slaps Dimple, showing that she won’t tolerate such accusations.
At the hotel, Pakhi and Paritosh face trouble as they are asked to pay the bill. Instead of taking responsibility, they start complaining about the poor service at the hotel. Back at home, Anupama encourages Nandita to stand up for her own respect. This emotional moment leaves Nandita in tears, and she gets visibly moved by Anupama’s words.
Precap: In the upcoming episode, Anupama confronts Pakhi and Paritosh for their irresponsible behavior. Pakhi and Paritosh, in return, are seen cleaning utensils, accusing Anupama of being too harsh on them.
