Anupama 29 August 2024 Episode Written Update: In today’s episode of Anupama, the emotional intensity continues to rise as Anupama decides to take matters into her own hands to help Adhya. Realizing that Adhya needs to be rescued, Anupama chooses to involve the police. Her concern for Adhya’s well-being is evident, and she feels that bringing the authorities into the situation is the only way to ensure her safety.
Meanwhile, Megha, who has formed a strong bond with Adhya, confronts the dean of the institution. Megha wants to take Adhya along with her, but the dean sees this as an issue. The dean believes Megha’s desire to move with Adhya is rooted in Adhya’s unusual behavior. Megha gets defensive when the dean calls her ‘Adhya’ and insists that she should not be referred to by that name. This leads to a heated argument between Megha and the dean.
Megha becomes emotional and reveals that she has lost her own daughter due to her carelessness in the past. She confesses that she is not ready to let go of Adhya, as she views her as a way to cope with her past trauma. The dean, however, reminds Megha that she and her husband are only foster parents and do not have the right to claim Adhya as their own. Despite this, Megha’s attachment to Adhya remains strong, and she refuses to let her go. The dean is left struggling to manage Megha’s emotional outburst.
Anupama, observing Megha’s pain, feels empathy for her. However, she firmly believes that Megha cannot hold Adhya against her will. Anupama makes up her mind to go ahead with her plan to rescue Adhya. She knows that Adhya’s true happiness lies with Anuj, and she is determined to reunite them. Anupama understands that bringing Adhya back to Anuj will be the best decision for everyone involved.

Elsewhere, Meenu is having a conversation about her future. Meenu, who is firm in her beliefs, shares her thoughts on marriage. She expresses her desire to serve the poor after completing her internship, showing her compassionate nature. When asked if she is ready to move to the USA, Meenu declines, stating that she wants to stay in India. Her decision to refuse a potential alliance angers Leela and Paritosh. Paritosh, in particular, is upset with Meenu’s decision and questions whether she is in love with Sagar.
Meenu admits her feelings for Sagar but makes it clear that she does not want to marry at this point. Paritosh is concerned about how Vanraj will respond to this situation. However, Meenu remains determined to speak with Vanraj herself. She confronts Paritosh and Pakhi, reminding them that they both have experienced runaway marriages and have no right to lecture her. Leela, on the other hand, is deeply worried about Meenu’s choices.
In another part of the house, Hasmuk questions Anupama about her delay, reminding her about the upcoming Janmashtami celebration. Anupama is preoccupied with thoughts of Adhya but still plans for the celebration. Leela’s anxiety about Meenu’s situation persists, and Kinjal tries to console her. Meanwhile, Anuj misses Adhya, his heart aching for the little girl.
Anupama, determined to reunite Adhya with Anuj, prepares to set her plan in motion. She is hopeful that this reunion will bring happiness back to their lives. As the Shah family and Anupama come together to celebrate Janmashtami, there is a mixture of joy and tension in the air. Leela complains to Hasmuk about being left alone, and Hasmuk gently inquires why she is so upset.
Elsewhere, Sagar is curious about Meenu’s recent alliance decision and questions her about it. Meenu, in turn, asks Sagar why he is so concerned, hinting at her awareness of his feelings. Paritosh attempts to prevent Kinjal from seeing Anupama. Kinjal, not one to back down, accuses Paritosh of becoming like Vanraj. She challenges him, asking if he plans to interfere with Meenu’s life choices as well.
Dimple and Titu, meanwhile, engage in a lighthearted moment where Dimple asks Titu to take a selfie for her social media post, and Titu teases her. Bala finds himself captivated by Indra’s presence, adding a touch of romance to the day’s events.
As Anupama and Anuj pray to God for guidance, Adhya is filled with hope and excitement, eager to meet them again. Megha starts to understand the connection between Anupama and Adhya better. Anupama eagerly waits for Adhya at the temple, filled with hope and determination.
