At that moment, Baani receives a call from her boss and leaves the room to attend to it. This gives Rajat a moment of self-reflection, where he scolds himself for even considering the idea of revealing his past with Lavanya. He knows that if he had gone through with it, the consequences would have been disastrous for his marriage. Rajat realizes that keeping this secret may be the only way to protect his relationship with Baani.
Trying to distract himself from his worries, Rajat decides to present the gifts he bought from Shimla. He shows Baani the presents he has bought for both his and her family. When Baani leaves to find Rajat, the thief seizes the opportunity to escape, but Satish manages to hold him at gunpoint.
Hearing the commotion, Baani rushes back, only to find Satish in a dangerous situation, held at gunpoint by the thief. Without hesitation, Baani risks her life to save Satish, sustaining a minor injury in the process. Her bravery in the face of danger earns her Rajat’s praise later that evening. Rajat expresses his admiration for Baani’s selflessness and courage, grateful to have her in his life.
As the night progresses, Lavanya resurfaces, threatening Rajat and demanding his attention. Unable to tolerate her interference any longer, Rajat confronts her and advises her to move on with her life. Baani, noticing Rajat’s absence from their room, goes outside to search for him.
