In the episode of Bhagya Lakshmi aired on 11th September 2024, the story begins with a bit of tension at the Oberoi mansion. A waiter accidentally bumps into a guest, spilling juice on them. The waiter quickly apologizes, but Karishma, clearly annoyed, scolds him harshly, telling him to leave the party. However, Ayush intervenes, calming Karishma down and politely asking the waiter to leave. Ayush then questions Karishma’s overreaction, suggesting that shouting at the waiter for such a minor mistake wasn’t necessary. He advises her to let the incident go and move on.
Anushka, who witnesses the entire exchange, approaches Karishma and expresses her concern. She feels that Ayush has changed a lot since Lakshmi came into the Oberoi household. Anushka points out that Ayush used to never talk back to Karishma, but since Lakshmi arrived, it seems to be happening more frequently. Anushka doesn’t stop there; she also mentions that Rishi is always seen around Lakshmi, and this constant proximity between the two is becoming noticeable. Aanchal, overhearing the conversation, agrees with Anushka, further fueling Karishma’s concerns.
Meanwhile, preparations for the pooja are in full swing. The pandit asks everyone to offer aarti to God, and Harleen, with respect and admiration, asks Lakshmi to lead the aarti. Lakshmi agrees, and soon the aarti ceremony begins with everyone participating.
On a more sinister note, the diamond smuggler, now under immense pressure, contacts his boss. The boss gives a strict order to the smuggler, instructing him to turn himself in to the police. However, the smuggler has other plans. He reveals that he has the real diamonds hidden with him. When the boss demands to know where the diamonds are, the smuggler explains his clever scheme. After his bike accident, he had hidden in a truck to escape the police.
The truck carried a Ganesh statue, and in an act of desperation, he swapped the artificial diamonds embedded in the statue with the real ones. Now, all that remains is to retrieve the diamonds from the Oberoi mansion, where the statue is currently housed. The boss, impressed but cautious, orders his henchman, David, to retrieve the diamonds before 10:30 p.m. He also issues a stern warning: if the smuggler fails, David must kill him. David agrees without hesitation.
Back at the Oberoi mansion, Lakshmi leads the aarti with Rishi, Parvati, and Rohan joining her in prayer. Unbeknownst to the family, David and the diamond smuggler sneak into the mansion disguised as guests, their sights set on the diamonds hidden in the Ganesh statue.
As the aarti concludes, the children in the house eagerly ask Lakshmi when the pooja will resume. Lakshmi checks with the pandit and informs the children that the pooja will continue in the evening. The children, satisfied with the answer, happily agree to wait.
Balwinder, a long-time troublemaker, is seen lurking in the background, keeping a close watch on Lakshmi. His intentions are unclear, but he seems to have something planned. Anushka notices Balwinder’s gaze fixed on Lakshmi and grows suspicious. Meanwhile, Kiran approaches Anushka and shares her concerns about the household. She comments that ever since Lakshmi came into the family, things have changed, and Malishka’s importance seems to be fading. Anushka agrees, noting that Malishka’s influence has indeed diminished. Kiran suggests that if Anushka wants to maintain her own value in the house, she must keep Shalu away from Ayush.
Soon after, Shalu and Rano arrive at the Oberoi mansion carrying sweets. Ayush offers to help Shalu with the boxes, but Rano insists that Ayush helps her instead. Ayush obliges. As Shalu gives the sweet boxes to David, unaware of his true identity, she asks him to hold them for a moment. David, playing along, agrees. Shalu then prays to God, while Ayush, growing suspicious, asks David and the smuggler if they are guests of someone at the party. David, thinking quickly, responds affirmatively and makes a casual comment to deflect suspicion.
After finishing her prayers, Shalu heads to the kitchen with Ayush. In the kitchen, Shalu tells Mukesh that she brought sweets from home and asks him to distribute them to all the guests. Ayush, ever curious, asks Shalu if he can taste the sweets. Shalu agrees, and Ayush takes a bite of the laddoo, praising Shalu for her cooking skills. Shalu, touched by the compliment, reminisces about how her mother used to receive praise for her laddoos. Anushka, unnoticed, overhears their conversation, likely plotting her next move.
