Sensing that the police might be planning something, Mayank suggests using one of the hostages as a human shield to threaten the police. When the terrorists attempt to grab young Parvati, Neelam steps in to protect her. She bravely offers herself instead, urging the terrorists to leave the children alone.
Parvati and Rohan try to resist, warning Mayank that Rishi will not stand for this.
