The episode begins with a conversation between Rishi and Lakshmi. Rishi tells Lakshmi that when her mood is good, she listens to everything he says. But when she is upset, she doesn’t listen and instead spoils his mood too. He decides that he needs to talk to Lakshmi and share his feelings.
Rishi goes to Lakshmi and says he is finally going to tell her what’s been on his mind. He reminds Lakshmi that she was the one who told the court that Rishi and Malishka’s marriage is illegal. The court even ruled that his marriage with Lakshmi is the only legal one. Lakshmi, however, questions him. She asks if he isn’t married to Malishka, then why is Malishka still staying in his room. Rishi admits Lakshmi has a valid point. He promises her that he will take care of the situation right away.
Rishi then goes to his room, packs up Malishka’s belongings, and takes her out of the room. He is determined to prove his loyalty to Lakshmi.
Meanwhile, Anushka has a heart-to-heart with Ayush. She apologizes to him, admitting that she never realized when she turned into a person who doubted him. She says sorry for thinking that Ayush was involved with Shalu. Ayush listens patiently and comforts Anushka, reassuring her.
On another side of the house, Aanchal approaches Neelam. Aanchal notices that Neelam is deep in thought and asks what’s on her mind. Neelam shares her worries about the upcoming court hearing. She confides that Rishi is her greatest weakness, but lately, it feels like Parvati is even more important to her than him. Neelam also expresses her fear that the court ruling may not go in their favor. Aanchal tries to calm her down, reminding her not to think negatively. Neelam acknowledges that maybe she is overthinking the situation.
Back to Rishi and Lakshmi, Rishi is stopped by Lakshmi. He tells her he plans to ask Malishka to leave the room so that Lakshmi can move in. Lakshmi, however, remains skeptical. She tells him that just because he wants something to happen doesn’t mean it will. Rishi, confident in his feelings, asks Lakshmi not to test his love. He firmly tells her that he will always win. Rishi admits that many bad things happened in the past, but he promises to make their present so beautiful that Lakshmi will forget those bad memories. He asks her to trust him.
Just then, Rishi accidentally bumps into Lakshmi. Parvati notices the collision and jokes that a black dog will bite them unless they bump heads again. Rishi and Lakshmi laugh and playfully bump heads once more. Parvati then asks about the luggage nearby. Lakshmi explains that it’s her new clothes for the Ganesh Pooja. Rishi offers to put the clothes in his room, but Lakshmi insists that she will handle it and place them in her own room.
Later, Lakshmi puts Rohan and Parvati to bed. Once they’re asleep, Parvati wakes up Rohan. She reminds him how Rishi and Lakshmi worked together to help him when he had fallen earlier. She suggests that they pretend to be in trouble to bring Rishi and Lakshmi closer and help them become friends. Rohan agrees that this is a good plan.
The next morning, the family gathers to perform the Aarthi for Lord Ganesh. Ayush sees Shalu from a distance and quickly leaves the scene. Shalu notices this and follows him, curious about his behavior.
Anushka then meets Malishka. She tells Malishka that she did something yesterday and is unsure if it was the right thing to do. Malishka asks her what she is talking about. Anushka reveals that she cried in front of Ayush to make him feel guilty so that he wouldn’t be able to look at anyone else. Malishka praises her for the tactic but warns Anushka not to try anything like that on her. Anushka assures her she wouldn’t dare.
Shalu finally catches up to Ayush and confronts him. She asks him why he’s acting so strangely and what is on his mind. Ayush, however, remains silent, recalling his thoughts about Ansh and Shalu. He walks away without answering. Shalu, determined, makes Ayush swear on her and tell her the truth.
