The episode starts with Rishi brings Parvati into the room, where Aanchal asks Dr. Sangeeta to start treatment. Sangeeta requests everyone except the parents to leave. However, Aanchal, worried about Parvati’s unconscious state, refuses to go. After examining Parvati, Sangeeta reassures them that Parvati’s vitals are stable, and she will regain consciousness soon. Lakshmi, deeply concerned, is comforted by Rishi.
Meanwhile, Malishka takes Rohan to a room, where he mentions seeing her handling a rod earlier and questions her about it. Malishka quickly denies it when she spots Karishma approaching, convincing Rohan he must have imagined it. Despite agreeing, Rohan remains suspicious about why she would harm Parvati.
Sangeeta tells Harleen and Ayush about Parvati’s condition and reassures them that she will wake up soon. She advises Harleen to speak with the contractor responsible for the faulty cradle (paalna), stating that his negligence could have caused Parvati’s death.
Harleen keeps watch over the unconscious Parvati, while Avinash expresses concern about how the cradle fell. Lakshmi is determined to find the truth and promises to look into whether someone purposely hurt Parvati. Kiran overhears this conversation.
Rohan, still worried, leaves to check on Parvati. Karishma orders Anushka to follow him, and she complies. Karishma then scolds Malishka for her reckless behavior, but Malishka defends herself, saying her plan was to trap Lakshmi, not harm Parvati. Karishma insists that causing harm, even unintentionally, is wrong. Kiran also reprimands Malishka, warning that Lakshmi is determined to seek justice for Parvati. Frustrated, Malishka retorts and storms out after the tense exchange.
Later, Lakshmi discovers the broken cradle and confronts Malishka, who denies any involvement. Lakshmi warns her to be thankful if she is innocent, vowing to keep a close eye on her to uncover the truth. Growing defensive, Malishka insists she is not guilty. Aanchal interrupts, emphasizing that Parvati is hurt regardless of who’s at fault. She also mentions that she plans to observe a vrath (fast) every Janmashtami to give thanks for Parvati’s survival.
That night, Malishka struggles to sleep, troubled by Lakshmi’s suspicion. She knows Rishi will stay by Parvati’s side, leaving her anxious about the future.
The following morning, Malishka wakes up late and sees that Rohan is already dressed for school. When she tries to warn him to avoid Lakshmi, he brushes her off and leaves. After school, Rohan returns, telling Malishka that he’s still concerned about Parvati and plans to visit her.
Later, Malishka overhears Lakshmi on the phone with Shalu, assuring her that she’s keeping a close watch on everyone and is determined to find the culprit. This conversation heightens Malishka’s worry.
Malishka has a vivid daydream in which Lakshmi discovers the truth and punishes her. Karishma interrupts her, advising her to divert Lakshmi’s attention elsewhere. Unsure how to proceed, Malishka remembers Balwinder. Karishma suggests contacting him to cause trouble for Lakshmi. Upon learning from Guddu that Balwinder is in a mental asylum, Malishka decides to visit him.
At the asylum, Malishka tells Balwinder about Lakshmi’s happiness with Rishi, reminding him that Lakshmi is responsible for his downfall. Provoked by her words, Balwinder attacks Malishka, but security arrives in time to restrain him and lock him in a dark room.
Back at the Oberoi mansion, Lakshmi notices a wound on Malishka’s neck and sarcastically asks if it was an injury or deserved, hinting at the latter.
Later, Malishka shares the details of her encounter with Balwinder with Karishma, confident that he will now target Lakshmi. In his dark cell, Balwinder swears revenge on Lakshmi.
