The “Bhagya Lakshmi” episode aired on August 9, 2024, unfolds with a powerful scene as Lakshmi arrives at the Oberoi mansion. Her determined expression reveals that she is on a mission, and the atmosphere is thick with tension as she steps onto the doorstep and calls out for Parvati. This moment marks the beginning of an intense confrontation between Lakshmi and the Oberoi family, with long-standing tensions coming to the surface.
As Lakshmi waits at the door, Neelam quickly intercepts her. Neelam, ever assertive and protective of her family, immediately demands that Lakshmi halt where she is. With an accusatory tone, Neelam calls Lakshmi a hypocrite, accusing her of double-dealing—saying one thing but doing another. The confrontation escalates rapidly as Neelam bluntly questions Lakshmi’s purpose for coming to the Oberoi mansion.
Despite Neelam’s hostility, Lakshmi remains composed and calmly states that she is there for Parvati. This declaration ignites Neelam’s fury, who vehemently asserts that Parvati will not be leaving with Lakshmi and orders her to leave immediately. However, Lakshmi, unfazed by Neelam’s outburst, uses it to her advantage. She confirms her suspicion that Parvati is indeed at the Oberoi mansion—a fact she had only guessed until now. This revelation fuels Lakshmi’s anger, and she sharply criticizes Rishi, labeling him a hypocrite for pretending to be unaware of Rohan and Parvati’s whereabouts when they were, in fact, right under his roof.
Ayush attempts to step in and defend Rishi. He explains that it was he who informed Rishi about Rohan and Parvati’s presence at the mansion. However, Lakshmi is not in a forgiving mood. She turns her frustration toward Ayush, reprimanding him for disclosing that Parvati is Rishi’s daughter without consulting her first. This makes the already tense situation even more intense.

Karishma, who always defends her family, quickly joins the argument, supporting Neelam against Lakshmi. The argument gets heated, and Rishi tries hard to calm things down and bring some order, but his attempts fail. Neelam and Karishma won’t listen, and they are solely focused on getting Lakshmi out of the house. Neelam’s disdain for Lakshmi is palpable as she instructs the servants to close the door on Lakshmi, effectively trying to shut her out both physically and emotionally.
As the door shuts, Rishi stands alone, clearly upset by how his family is treating Lakshmi. He voices his disapproval, reminding Neelam that despite their differences, Lakshmi is still Parvati’s mother and has every right to be concerned about her daughter. Neelam refuses to listen to Rishi’s request and tells him angrily that he’s not the same person she raised. Then she walks away, leaving Rishi feeling frustrated and helpless.
The scene then moves to Rishi trying to convince his family of how serious the situation is. Aanchal, another family member, confronts Rishi and questions why his actions and loyalties seem to have changed.
At Rano’s house, things are tense but for different reasons. Rano tells Shalu that Parvati is at the Oberoi mansion, adding to the already complicated situation. Their conversation is cut short by the doorbell. When Rano opens the door, she finds Pramita, a lawyer, standing there. Pramita introduces herself and says she will be taking over Parvati’s custody case. This surprises Rano and Shalu because they thought another lawyer, Pratibha, was in charge. Pramita says that Pratibha works for her. She chose to handle the case herself because it’s complicated and requires her expertise.
Pramita further surprises them by revealing that she has already resolved one of Lakshmi’s biggest problems by securing a job for her. Rano and Shalu are excited about this news and can’t wait to share it with Lakshmi. However, Pramita’s priority is finding Lakshmi, who they inform her has gone to retrieve Parvati.

At the Oberoi mansion, the tension is high when the doorbell rings again. This time, Lakshmi arrives with the police, determined to take her daughter Parvati back. The Oberoi family is shocked, especially Malishka. The police have confirmed that Parvati is present and are ready to intervene. However, Neelam tries to prevent them from doing so and asks Rishi to bring Parvati downstairs.
Rishi goes to get Parvati, who is sleeping peacefully and unaware of what’s happening. When Rishi brings her to the living room, Lakshmi asserts that Parvati belongs with her and no one else has a right to keep her.
The scene becomes emotional when Parvati wakes up and, realizing the situation, begs Lakshmi not to take her away. She wants to stay, and Rohan also asks Lakshmi to think again. Lakshmi, deeply moved by her daughter’s plea and the situation, starts to cry. Seeing her mother’s sadness, Parvati chooses to go with Lakshmi, asking her not to cry. Lakshmi, though heartbroken, leaves with Parvati, while the police warn the Oberoi family not to try such actions again as they are against the law.
