Yashwant advises Deepika to support her husband, as he needs her. Janvi, on the other hand, cautions Deepika to remain careful, warning her against being betrayed by someone.
When the press questions Chirag about his wife’s complexion and suggests Lavanya disapproves of a dark-skinned daughter-in-law, Chirag calmly responds by praising his wife’s beautiful smile and criticizes the media for spreading false rumors. He invites the media to ask his mother directly, asserting that she has no issues with him or his wife. Lavanya then steps in, affirming that there are no misunderstandings between her and her children. Omkar takes control of the situation, calling for a short break with the press. While Omkar appreciates Chirag for handling the press well, Lavanya continues to blame Chirag and Deepika for fueling the rumors.
Chirag, standing up for Deepika, tells Lavanya that his wife is as much a part of the family as she is. Payal adds that Chirag had no other choice. Meanwhile, preparations for Deepika and Chirag’s Grah Pravesh (housewarming ceremony) begin. Though Lavanya is upset, Chirag attempts to calm her down. Lavanya tells him that he has finally shown he is truly her son. Exhausted, Lavanya asks Neelima to manage the rituals. Neelima warmly welcomes Deepika and Chirag, performing the Grah Pravesh puja as the couple enters the house and takes blessings from Omkar, Ashu, and Neelima. Deepika expresses her wish to receive Lavanya’s blessings too. Chirag approaches his mother, but Lavanya only blesses her son, ignoring Deepika. However, Chirag takes Deepika’s hand and together they receive Lavanya’s blessings.
Prithvi accuses Chirag of playing a game, but Omkar reminds him that rituals aren’t a game. Deepika tries to speak with Lavanya, offering an apology, but Lavanya coldly replies that she doesn’t acknowledge Deepika and whatever happens next will be on her terms.
