In the latest episode of Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua 9 September 2024, the Mittal family brings their new bride, Deepika, home for the first time after her wedding. As she steps towards the door, Saloni stops her, creating a playful moment of suspense. Chirag, Deepika’s husband, is curious about what’s happening, and Saloni explains that Deepika has to give an “entry tax” before entering the house. Payal adds that the bride’s sister-in-law, or nanad, must be paid as part of the tradition. Both Saloni and Payal cheekily demand money from Deepika.
Caught off guard, Chirag jokes about having no money, as the wedding happened in a hurry, leaving them unprepared for this moment. However, Prithvi, the elder brother, steps in and hands money to Saloni and Payal. With a laugh, they welcome Deepika into the Mittal household. Chirag, filled with joy, expresses how much he missed his family during the wedding ceremony. Ashutosh and Neelima then present Deepika with a stunning necklace as part of the traditional shagun. Although a bit hesitant, Deepika accepts the gift and graciously thanks them. Ashutosh helps her wear the necklace while Lavanya, Chirag’s sister, watches from her room with displeasure.
To add a personal touch to the day, Deepika gives Chirag a herbal remedy and asks him to give it to Lavanya to help ease her headache, showing her concern for the family’s well-being.
Meanwhile, at home, Jahnvi is seen preparing lemonade and complaining to her mother, Shobha, about her hangover from the wedding celebrations. She whines about being made to work on her own instead of having Deepika around to assist her like a maid. Shobha firmly reminds her that Deepika is no longer there to help, and she needs to manage her own tasks. Manorama, Jahnvi’s grandmother, joins the conversation and brings up the topic of Jahnvi’s pending alliance with Prithvi. Shobha reveals that she has been messaging Lavanya twice a day to convince her about the marriage. However, Jahnvi seems uninterested and hasn’t made any effort herself.
Manorama scolds Jahnvi, pointing out that she should learn from Deepika, who has managed to secure a loving husband and is now settling into the Mittal family. She even adds that soon Deepika will be a mother. Jahnvi, feeling jealous, mumbles about ruining Deepika’s special night.
Back at the Mittal house, Chirag visits Lavanya, who is still upset. He tries to comfort her, even lying on her lap to seek her affection. Lavanya, though softening a bit, still asks him to focus on his post-wedding rituals. Chirag offers her the herbal tea that Deepika had prepared, but in his nervousness, he accidentally mentions Deepika’s name. This upsets Lavanya further, and after Chirag leaves, she orders the maid to throw the tea away.
The family continues the wedding festivities with a traditional ring-finding game. Deepika wins, much to Lavanya’s annoyance, as she suspects Chirag might have helped her win. Then, Ashutosh brings out another family tradition where they shake a chain with a ring to predict if the couple will have a boy or girl. Although Chirag feels uncomfortable, Deepika persuades him to participate for the sake of the family’s happiness. Neelima then sends the couple off to rest, while Prithvi and Saloni humorously tease them before leaving their room.
Inside the room, Deepika thanks Prithvi for saving her life when Lavanya had attempted to bulldoze the outhouse. Prithvi feels guilty for not doing enough to protect her earlier. Deepika reassures him and promises to help resolve his stalled engagement with Jahnvi. Prithvi, now hopeful, hugs Deepika and leaves the room. He immediately calls Jahnvi to share the news that Deepika is willing to assist in their relationship. However, Jahnvi, driving to Chirag’s hospital, coldly disconnects the call, vowing not to marry Prithvi and to ruin Deepika’s happiness.
The story takes a shocking turn when Jahnvi, disguised as a nurse, calls Chirag from the hospital, falsely informing him that a patient’s condition is critical. Chirag rushes to the hospital only to discover that everything is fine, and his staff has no knowledge of the emergency. Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, he sees two people in hoodies, raising his suspicions.
Meanwhile, Lavanya catches Jahnvi and her accomplice, confronting her for scheming against Chirag. Jahnvi admits that she hates Deepika and proposes that they work together to remove her from Chirag’s life. Lavanya, tempted by the idea, makes a deal with Jahnvi, allowing her access to her bungalow and luxuries in exchange for eliminating Deepika from their family.
The episode ends with a dramatic precap where Neelima lifts Deepika’s ghunghat to perform the traditional muh dikhayi ceremony, but everyone is shocked to see her face. Lavanya taunts that this ceremony is for her daughter-in-law, not Deepika.
The episode is filled with high drama, as Deepika tries to settle into her new family life while facing jealousy and plotting from Jahnvi and Lavanya. With tensions rising, it remains to be seen how Deepika will navigate these challenges.
