On 18 September 2024, the episode of the popular show begins with Kalyani bringing Ganga back to Lalita. Kalyani confronts Lalita and makes it clear that she won’t accept Ganga. Kalyani believes this relationship won’t last long, and eventually, Lalita’s son will reject her. She sternly tells Lalita that she should be ashamed of herself for her actions.
Meanwhile, Ritu notices that Akshay is upset. She learns that Akshay feels guilty for betraying his mother’s trust. Ritu tries to comfort him by saying that she will fix everything and will make things right with his mother. She encourages Akshay to stay positive and suggests they go meet his mother together. However, when Akshay gets a call from his mother, he disconnects the call without answering.
At the same time, Kriti is angry at Ganga, but Amma Ji steps in and advises her to control her temper. The tension continues to rise as Abhay discusses his plan with his Bade Papa. He expresses his intention to drag Ganga’s family to jail and asks for his support.
Later, Akshay receives another call, and this time, Hema overhears Pandit Ji from the background talking about his fees. Kalyani, meanwhile, continues to confront Lalita. She tells her that no one is aware that Ganga has been forced into this situation. Kalyani suggests that Lalita should find a suitable boy for Ganga instead.
Lalita, on the other hand, starts throwing tantrums and tells Kalyani a made-up story. She claims that her brother was the one who brought the boy for Ganga. Lalita adds that she doesn’t want her daughter to get married against her will. She then blames Kalyani for Ganga’s forceful marriage, accusing her of spreading false rumors that her daughters were characterless. Lalita goes on to say that posters with these rumors were put up on the walls, damaging their reputation.
Abhay then goes to the police and demands that Ganga’s family be arrested. He tells the officer that he will not accept this marriage. However, the police officer informs Abhay that the video evidence shows he willingly agreed to the marriage.
Back at home, Lalita instructs her husband to lie to Kalyani, saying that all the posters had been torn down. Lalita continues to lash out at Kalyani, claiming that she never saw Abhay’s face and would never want an uneducated girl to marry her son, who is a doctor. Lalita tells Kalyani that she only has two choices left after returning to her party. She says either Kalyani and her daughter commit suicide or they quickly arrange a marriage for Ganga.
Meanwhile, Ritu decides to call her mother. She wants to inform her that she is now married to the doctor. She attempts to video call her mother, but her mother doesn’t pick up the call.
Ganga also expresses her concerns to Kalyani. She admits that she hasn’t seen the face of her future husband, and her uncle had told her she must marry. Kalyani, still firm in her stance, tells Lalita that she will not accept Ganga as this marriage is completely unreasonable.
In the precap of the episode, rumors start spreading that Kalyani has brought a new daughter-in-law. Kalyani’s maid informs her that the daughter-in-law is waiting outside the house.
