The episode begins with Saisha slapping herself repeatedly. Concerned, Nanny approaches her and asks why she is doing this. Saisha explains that she is being troubled by mosquitoes since the windows are open, and she is trying to get rid of them. Understanding the situation, Nanny promptly closes the windows and mentions that she will burn a mosquito coil to drive the insects away. However, Saisha hesitates, recalling that Savi once told her that mosquito coils are not good for health. Instead, she requests a mosquito racket to kill the pests.
Nanny gives Saisha a regular racket, but Saisha quickly points out that it is not the correct one. She then requests Nanny to call Rajat, as he knows the right type of mosquito racket. Nanny obliges and calls Rajat, who is on his way home. When he answers, Saisha expresses her desire to stay with him and Savi. She also asks him to bring the correct mosquito racket, to which Rajat agrees.
Later, Rajat arrives at Ashika’s house with the mosquito racket. Nanny opens the door and informs him that Saisha is already asleep. When she asks if he wants to see Saisha, Rajat agrees, and Nanny takes him to Sai’s room. As Rajat watches his daughter sleep, he becomes emotional, reflecting on the moments he spent with Sai. Before leaving, he asks Nanny to take good care of his daughter.
As Rajat is about to leave Harsh’s house, Harsh intercepts him and mentions that he has heard about Rajat’s upcoming marriage. Harsh then jabs at Rajat, hoping that his new wife won’t leave him like Ashika did. This irritates Rajat, who retorts by reminding Harsh that he broke Rajat’s family without his consent, so he no longer needs Harsh’s permission for anything.

Just then, Ashika appears and questions Rajat about entering their house. Rajat calmly informs her that he is getting married, to which Ashika responds with a neutral “good.” Rajat then reveals that he came to tell her about his marriage personally. His voice filled with emotion, he confesses that he still misses her and loves her, asking if she would consider giving their relationship another chance.
Harsh, feeling territorial, reminds Rajat that he is talking to Ashika, who is now his girlfriend, not Rajat’s wife. Ashika tries to calm the situation, telling Harsh to leave Rajat alone since he appears to be drunk. Rajat, however, smiles cynically and tells Ashika that it’s easy to deceive her with sweet words. He admits that love has disappeared from his life and that Ashika made him realize that money can buy anything. Rajat harshly adds that he never wants Ashika back in his life.
As Ashika tries to retaliate, Rajat tells her that he only came to see his daughter, who was being troubled by mosquitoes. Ashika offers to check on Sai, but Rajat accuses her of fake concern, asserting that as long as he’s alive, nothing will happen to his daughter.

Rajat then turns to Harsh, questioning why he is so interested in his second marriage. He taunts them by asking if they want to know who he is marrying. Curiosity piqued, Ashika asks for the name of the person. Rajat proudly announces that he is marrying someone who is a thousand times better than Ashika and who will become a true mother to his daughter, unlike Ashika. He then leaves, leaving Ashika puzzled and thinking about whom Rajat might be marrying.
After leaving the house, Rajat gets into his car and asks his driver if people lie when they’re drunk. The driver responds that people usually speak the truth when intoxicated. Rajat reflects on this and admits that he lied about Savi, making a vague comment on the situation.
The following day, Savi is excited to see the arrangements for her engagement. She offers to help, but Isha gently refuses, insisting that Savi should just enjoy the day. Isha then feeds Savi her favorite modak, which makes Savi emotional. Isha lovingly tells Savi to wipe her tears, promising that today she will only smile. Isha also teases that she will make Bhagyasree cry as a joke. Suddenly, the doorbell rings, and when Isha opens the door, she finds Bhagyasree leaning against the wall, asleep, with her finger still pressing the doorbell.

Raju welcomes Isha and called everyone come inside the house. Isha then wakes up Bhagyasree and asks her to join them. As the Bhosle family observes, they notice that all the Thakkar family members seem sleepy. The Thakkars explain that they stayed awake the whole night doing a pooja to the Goddess. However, Isha and the others quickly realize that they were actually playing cards all night, which is why they are so tired.
Raju goes to fetch Rajat, who hasn’t arrived with the rest of the family. Meanwhile, Shantanu asks Mrunamyi to make tea for everyone, which she agrees to do. After drinking the tea, the Thakkar family members start feeling more awake and are able to engage in conversation normally.
Janaki then confides in her husband that she doesn’t think they can eat the food at the Bhosle house. She expresses concern that the Bhosle family might be non-vegetarian and only serve food using utensils that have been in contact with meat, whereas they only eat vegetarian food. Janaki and her husband then politely inform the Bhosle family that they cannot eat the food served there.
This episode concludes with the tension between the families and the uncertain future that lies ahead for Rajat, Ashika, and their daughter, Sai.
