Today’s episode, the story unfolds in Darjeeling with Ranbir and Meghla meeting under unusual circumstances. Ranbir starts by asking Meghla if she came to Darjeeling alone or with her family. Meghla quickly answers that she is here with her family, and her sister made all the plans for the trip.
She adds that after they reached their hotel, instead of resting and freshening up, she decided to wander around. Ranbir responds by saying he believes one should choose to wander instead of taking time to freshen up. Meghla shares that she regrets coming this far from the hotel alone. Ranbir disagrees but expresses concern about the safety of women, which leaves him feeling a bit upset.
In return, Meghla asks Ranbir whether he is in Darjeeling alone or with family. Ranbir tells her he is here by himself because he enjoys traveling alone. The conversation shifts when Ranbir compliments Meghla’s singing skills. He tells her she is a great singer. Meghla is taken by surprise but modestly refuses the praise.
She explains that she is still practicing and has a long way to go before she can accept such compliments. Ranbir then reveals that he saw one of her singing videos on social media. Meghla is shocked as she realizes that it must be a video of her practicing with her Guru Ji, which someone posted online without her knowledge. Ranbir is equally surprised to hear this.
Meanwhile, at the Sen family’s hotel, they are searching for Meghla. The family is worried about her being alone and out of contact. Mahua, Meghla’s mother, regrets taking her phone away. Because of this, they have no way to reach her. Adrija, Meghla’s sister, is visibly frustrated and blames Meghla for being irresponsible. She vents out her anger, saying that Meghla should have kept her phone with her.
However, Chandan, their father, defends Meghla, explaining that she isn’t like the younger generation, who always carry their phones. He adds that it was him who insisted Meghla have a phone in the first place. He tells Adrija to stop being so upset with Meghla. Mahua, feeling more anxious by the minute, tells Chandan not to argue and expresses her growing concern about Meghla’s whereabouts.
Back in Darjeeling, Ranbir continues his conversation with Meghla. He asks her why she refuses to acknowledge that she’s a good singer. Ranbir tells Meghla that one day she will become a famous singer. Meghla, however, tells him that she doesn’t dream of fame. She only wants to improve her singing for her own satisfaction. She views herself as her only competition. Ranbir is impressed by her humility and determination. He praises her for having such mature thoughts at such a young age. Meghla listens quietly as Ranbir continues to compliment her mindset.
At the Bajwa household, Mehar is growing frustrated because she hasn’t been able to reach Ranbir. Param tries calling Ranbir, but he also fails to get in touch with him. Seeing Mehar so worried, Param becomes emotional and starts missing his late mother. He confides in Mehar about his grief. Mehar tries to comfort him by telling him she is here to care for him, just as his mother would have done. Param appreciates Mehar’s kindness and thanks her for looking after him. Mehar suggests that Param visit his father’s family in Jaipur. But Param shows no interest, so Mehar tells him he can stay with them instead and leaves him to his thoughts.
Back with Meghla and Ranbir, Meghla questions Ranbir for calling her “too young.” She tells him that she has already completed her undergraduate degree, even though she isn’t particularly interested in her studies. During the conversation, Meghla speaks highly of Adrija. Ranbir, in his playful way, teases her, keeping the mood light. He then offers to drop her back at her hotel. Meghla initially refuses, but she eventually agrees, which makes Ranbir happy.
In the precap, Ranbir drops Meghla at the hotel. Adrija sees them together and becomes jealous. She then requests Ranbir to drop her as well. Ranbir agrees, leaving the viewers eager for what’s to come next.
