The episode begins with a tense moment as Harish, clinging desperately to a rock, fights to avoid falling into a deep valley. Jagriti, his daughter, watches helplessly as her father struggles to maintain his grip. With no time to waste, she prays fervently for his safety. As she frantically searches for a way to save him, her eyes fall upon a horse nearby. An idea strikes her, and she quickly springs into action.
Jagriti hurries to the horse and ties the foot of the man who is holding onto Harish’s hand to the horse. She then urges the horse to pull both the man and Harish to safety. Despite the man’s best efforts to help Harish stand, Harish is in too much pain from an injury to his waist and is unable to get up.
Meanwhile, back at the village, Ballu is seen playing cards with his friends. He casually remarks that Harish might become prey for wild animals today. Just then, Durjan arrives and questions Ballu about why he hasn’t gone hunting yet. Durjan mocks him, saying that if he has so much free time, he should help the women with housework.
As the scene shifts back to Jagriti, she is seen bringing the horse back to the village with Harish still on it. A man rushes to Durjan with grim news: Harish has fallen off the horse and into the cliff. Durjan is shocked and wonders how Harish, who is known to be the best horse rider in their community, could have fallen. Ballu, always eager to put Harish down, suggests that perhaps Harish was riding while drunk. Jagriti immediately jumps to her father’s defense, firmly stating that Harish had not consumed any alcohol.
The man goes on to explain that it seems Harish has broken his waist and cannot stand. Hearing this, Durjan quickly orders someone to fetch a doctor. However, Ballu protests, arguing that they shouldn’t call a doctor for Harish. He reminds Durjan that Harish has been a burden on their community for years, wasting time drinking alcohol, and now, treating him will only cost them more. Nanda, another villager, chimes in, pointing out that Jagriti has yet to complete the challenge of earning Rs 100 per day, a task Harish had taken on but now likely won’t be able to finish.
Determined and unfazed by the negativity around her, Jagriti steps forward. She declares that Harish will receive the treatment he needs, but it won’t be free. With renewed resolve, she vows to complete the challenge of earning Rs 100 per day and heads into the jungle.
In the jungle, Jagriti spots a rare foreign bird. She pleads with the bird to enter a cage she has set up so she can sell it and use the money for her father’s treatment. Miraculously, the bird flies into the cage. Wasting no time, Jagriti takes the caged bird and stands by the roadside, hoping to sell it for Rs 100. Unfortunately, her actions catch the attention of the police, who take her to Kalikant’s house for selling a foreign bird.
At the same time, Akash’s grandmother is shown to be annoyed by a rabbit that has entered their house. Akash tries to calm her down, asking her not to scold the rabbit, but his grandmother remains irritated.
Soon after, the police arrive at Kalikant’s house with Jagriti and the bird. Akash’s mother learns from the officers that Jagriti was attempting to sell the bird by the roadside. Akash recognizes Jagriti as the girl who had saved the rabbit earlier and tells his mother about it. Curious, Akash’s mother asks Jagriti why she captured the bird. Jagriti explains that by selling the bird, she would earn Rs 100 and that the bird would live happily in a golden cage.
Akash’s mother, in a lesson of empathy, ties Jagriti with a golden chain and asks how she feels. Jagriti admits that she feels suffocated. Akash’s mother then explains that no matter how beautiful a cage is, no one likes being trapped inside. Realizing her mistake, Jagriti expresses her gratitude and immediately frees the bird. The police, seeing the influence of Akash’s mother, do not object. At this moment, Kalikant enters the house, and the episode ends on this reflective note.
