On September 18, the episode of Jhanak starts with Aniruddha receiving shocking news about Jhanak’s health. He learns that she is not pregnant, as previously suspected, but instead has a large tumor growing in her abdomen. This news comes from Aditya, who informs Aniruddha that Jhanak needs immediate surgery to save her life. Aniruddha is deeply shaken by this revelation and becomes worried about how his wife, Arshi, will react once she learns about Jhanak’s condition.
Soon after the phone call, Arshi finds out about Jhanak’s illness. However, she shows no sympathy towards Jhanak. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Arshi remains cold and indifferent. On the other hand, Aniruddha feels an urgent need to visit Jhanak in Mumbai. He decides that he must see her, but when Arshi learns of this, she becomes furious. Arshi doesn’t want Aniruddha to have any contact with Jhanak, especially since she believes their relationship is inappropriate.
Arshi confronts Aniruddha and makes it clear that if he goes to Mumbai, it will be the end of their marriage. She threatens to end their relationship if he chooses to visit Jhanak. Aniruddha is torn between his concern for Jhanak and his marriage to Arshi. Despite the ultimatum, he makes up his mind to take the next morning’s flight to Mumbai. Arshi, enraged by his decision, questions the nature of his relationship with Jhanak. She repeats that this trip will mark the end of their marriage if Aniruddha leaves. Feeling conflicted and frustrated, Aniruddha storms out of the room in anger.
Left in a state of confusion and distress, Arshi calls her mother, Shristi, to inform her about Aniruddha’s decision. Shristi is just as shocked as Arshi and becomes equally furious. Shristi advises her daughter on how to control Aniruddha, making it clear that she won’t tolerate him going to Mumbai. Meanwhile, Vinayak, Arshi’s father, becomes curious about Jhanak’s condition after hearing about the situation. However, when he asks Shristi for more information, she refuses to tell him anything, focusing instead on criticizing Jhanak.
Shristi expresses her disdain for Jhanak, accusing her of being manipulative and willing to go to any lengths to win Aniruddha over. She blames Jhanak’s character, believing she is capable of doing anything to get what she wants. Vinayak, frustrated by the lack of information from Shristi, decides to call Arshi to learn more about Jhanak’s condition.
Arshi, on the other hand, is growing increasingly anxious. She demands that Aniruddha make a final decision—he must choose between Jhanak and her. Arshi even urges her father to speak with Aniruddha, hoping that he will be able to convince him to stay. Shristi, determined to stop Aniruddha from going to Mumbai, tells Arshi that she will handle the situation. She immediately calls Brijbhushan to find out Jhanak’s current location.
Vinayak, witnessing the conspiracies being hatched by Shristi and Arshi, becomes concerned. He realizes that they are plotting something against Jhanak, and he resolves to protect her from these “evil” plans. Meanwhile, Jhanak, still in Mumbai, asks Aditya if he has informed Aniruddha about her illness. Aditya tells her that Aniruddha knows about her condition, but he’s unsure if he will come to visit her in Mumbai. Jhanak, feeling guilty, says that she doesn’t want Aniruddha to come to Mumbai if it will disrupt his life. She only wanted him to know about her illness, not for him to rush to her side.
As the episode nears its conclusion, Appu learns that Lalan will not be returning home until the night. She becomes upset and pleads with him to come home earlier. However, her requests seem to fall on deaf ears. The episode ends on this emotional note, leaving viewers wondering what Aniruddha’s final decision will be.
