Jhanak 6th September 2024 Written Update: The episode begins with a conversation between Tanuja and Ajanta. Tanuja confronts Ajanta, questioning why she has been indulging an outsider for such a long time. This outsider has clearly stirred discomfort among the family, and Tanuja’s discontent is evident. Meanwhile, Rimi can’t help but feel envious when she sees the expensive necklace that Appu is wearing, a gift from Jhanak for her wedding. The necklace becomes the center of attention, and soon, Jhanak and Bipasha start taunting both Appu and Jhanak about it. They mockingly ask Jhanak how she could afford such an expensive piece of jewelry.
Jhanak, calm yet assertive, reminds everyone that she used to earn money by performing in dance competitions. This answer, while honest, doesn’t fully satisfy her critics, especially Vipasha. Despite Jhanak’s explanation, the judgment in the air is palpable, though Vipasha seems to reluctantly accept the answer without further argument.
The focus then shifts to Lalan, who meets Kajal. There is a noticeable tension between the two, as Kajal behaves rudely toward him. Kajal, once deeply in love with Lalan, is clearly hurt. Lalan, however, is oblivious to her feelings. Kajal’s pain stems from the fact that Lalan chose to marry Appu instead of her, a decision that has left her emotionally shattered. Lalan, unaware of the depth of her emotions, is confused by Kajal’s sudden coldness toward him. He thought she would be happy for him and support his marriage to Appu.
As Lalan tries to understand Kajal’s behavior, he asks her to participate in his wedding celebrations, urging her to attend since he regards her as his best friend. However, Kajal, heartbroken, refuses. She cannot hide her disappointment, and she firmly tells Lalan that she won’t be part of any of his wedding events. Lalan, clueless about the real reason for her pain, is left feeling bewildered.
Kajal walks away, promising herself that she will not be involved in any of the wedding festivities. The situation is further complicated when Anuradha, who understands Kajal’s pain, approaches her for a private conversation. Anuradha knows how deeply Kajal has been suffering because of her unspoken love for Lalan. In an attempt to ease Kajal’s hurt, Anuradha apologizes on behalf of her son, hoping it will bring some peace to her friend. However, Kajal remains deeply upset, unable to come to terms with the situation.
Meanwhile, another subplot unfolds as Rumi expresses her desire to go to the beauty parlour with Arshi. However, Arshi forbids Rumi from coming along, saying that the parlour is too expensive, and Rumi can’t afford it. This denial deeply offends Rumi, and she feels insulted by Arshi’s words. Determined to take revenge, Rumi starts plotting against Arshi.
Adding to the tension, Arshi learns that Jhanak and Aniruddha bought the marriage gift for Appu from the same shop, a piece of information that irritates her. Furious, Arshi storms into Appu’s room and confronts Aniruddha and Jhanak, demanding to know if they went shopping together. Both deny the accusation, with Jhanak firmly stating that she doesn’t need anyone’s help to buy a gift for Appu. She then pointedly asks Arshi if she truly trusts her husband. The confrontation leaves Arshi rattled, and she storms off, still suspicious and angry.
As the night progresses, the groom’s team arrives at the Bose house, ready to celebrate Appu’s wedding. Shubha, a character pretending to be affectionate and honest, welcomes them with open arms. On the surface, Shubha appears to be a joyful participant in the wedding festivities, but beneath his facade, he is waiting for the arrival of the police. His hidden agenda is to have the police stop the wedding, and his true intentions remain concealed from the rest of the family.
Precap: In the precap, it is revealed that the police will arrive on Appu’s wedding day to arrest Jhanak. However, Jhanak will demand to see an arrest warrant before complying.
