Kundai Bhagya 17 August 2024 Written Update: In the latest episode of “Kundali Bhagya,” aired on August 17, 2024, tensions run high as the story takes dramatic twists, leaving the characters in precarious situations. The episode begins with Varun revealing his true intentions toward Kavya, claiming that she is too simple-minded to understand the evil plot being hatched against him. He mentions how someone is trying to ruin his reputation by making a video to portray him as characterless. Varun defends himself, asserting that he has never been married and has only ever loved one woman—Kavya. He questions Kavya if she ever thought he could be involved with another girl, but insists that it was never the case.
Kavya, however, senses that something is off with Varun’s behavior. She wonders why he is talking to her in such a manner and suspects that he might be trying to manipulate her. Despite her doubts, she is relieved that Varun informed her about Preeta maa. Varun, on the other hand, is frustrated that Kavya did not listen to him before and is not paying attention now. He angrily thinks that her attitude is too much to handle. Varun has a secret reason for taking Kavya to the warehouse, as he is determined to marry her.
As Varun gets a call, he puts on his earphones and speaks with Anshuman, who is furious because his men are not answering his calls. Anshuman orders Varun to have them kill Preeta, considering her dangerous. Varun agrees but internally worries that if Anshuman finds out Preeta has escaped, he might kill Varun himself. Varun decides not to reveal Preeta’s escape to Anshuman.
Meanwhile, Anshuman calls Dutta and questions why his calls were ignored. Anshuman orders Dutta to kill Preeta at his ice factory, believing she should be buried alive so no one will ever know. However, Dutta is aware that Preeta has already escaped but keeps this information to himself.
In a different part of the city, Rakhi calls Rajveer, asking if everything is okay. Rajveer assures her that there is no problem. Rakhi informs him that Palki came to the house asking about Preeta, and when she was told that Preeta went to the mall with Kavya, Palki rushed out, which worries Rakhi. She asks Rajveer to find out what is going on, and Gurpreet supports this request. Rajveer, feeling helpless, mentions that they tried their best but couldn’t save the house. Gurpreet urges him to call Palki first and find out what happened.
Rajveer tries to reach Palki but is unable to connect with her. He starts getting anxious, wondering why he cannot get through to her. However, Varun manages to catch Preeta, covers her face, and ensures she is unconscious. He then takes her photo and sends a message to Bhanu and Dutta, instructing them to follow Anshuman Panday’s orders without making any mistakes.
As Kavya approaches Varun, he pretends to have been searching for Preeta. Bhanu and Dutta arrive, and Varun tells them they need to flee. Kavya, concerned for Preeta, runs towards her. Varun then asks Bhanu and Dutta what Anshuman has ordered them to do with Preeta. Dutta reveals they were told to place Preeta in an ice slab. Varun agrees to pursue her, and Bhanu and Dutta take Preeta into the warehouse.
In a parallel storyline, Shaurya is shown drinking excessively. Sandy, his friend, questions his actions, but Shaurya confesses he does not want to return home. He expresses his frustration over his family, particularly mentioning Rajveer’s aunt, who dared to slap him. However, Shaurya is still upset, believing that Preeta tried to manipulate him by crying in front of him, which led him to change everything in favor of Rajveer.
