The latest episode of Kundali Bhagya 9th September 2024 and brought many emotional and tense moments, especially revolving around Preeta, Rajveer, Kavya, and Shaurya. The episode started with a conversation between Kareena and Rajveer about Kavya’s safety. Kareena asks Rajveer to accompany Kavya outside, explaining that it isn’t safe for girls to go out alone at night. She mentions that society tends to blame girls in such situations.
Preeta steps in and agrees with Kareena, but with a different approach. She believes that society should also teach boys how to respect girls. She adds that good boys who treat women well are the real heroes. Rajveer supports this sentiment, explaining that men should protect and stand by the women in their lives. He also advises Kavya to be brave, to stand up for herself, and be capable of fighting her own battles. Preeta commends Rajveer for his thoughts, reinforcing that self-defense and courage are essential for every girl.
Meanwhile, Shaurya drops Palki off at her house. Palki thanks him for the ride, and surprisingly, Shaurya thanks her back. Puzzled, Palki asks why he is thanking her. Shaurya explains that she rarely thanks him, so it’s special when she does. With a smile, she walks into her house, but her father, Kulwinder, witnesses this exchange and seems to be contemplating the interaction between Shaurya and his daughter.
Shaurya, on the other hand, has something else on his mind. He contacts his friend Sunny and tells him he needs his presence at his engagement. Shaurya reveals that he has a plan and requires Sunny’s help to record something. Sunny is confused about Shaurya’s intentions and asks for more details. Shaurya explains his plan, and Sunny, although initially confused, becomes more curious. He finally asks if Shaurya is trying to sabotage Rajveer and Palki’s marriage because he has feelings for Palki. Shaurya dismisses the idea, stating that he hates the concept of love.
Back at the Luthra house, Preeta heads to the storeroom to fetch some lights. Nidhi notices this and, knowing that Preeta is afraid of the dark, decides to have some cruel fun. She follows Preeta quietly and switches off the lights as soon as Preeta enters the storeroom. Preeta is immediately terrified by the sudden darkness, but Nidhi continues to watch from a distance, waiting for her moment. Karan, who happens to be nearby, hears Preeta’s voice and rushes towards the storeroom.
Karan calls out to Preeta and asks if she’s inside. Preeta responds, telling him she is scared because of the darkness and that the door seems locked. She tries to open the door but can’t. Confused, she tells Karan that it feels like a ghost is there. Karan tries to reassure her that there’s no ghost and asks her to stay calm. Suddenly, Nidhi, hidden in the shadows, makes more noises by throwing empty boxes, further scaring Preeta. Preeta becomes even more frightened, convinced that there’s a ghost in the room. Her scream alerts Kavya and Dadi, who rush to the scene.
Karan explains to them what’s happening, and they all try to calm Preeta down from outside the room. Kavya tries to soothe Preeta by telling her that she’s there for her. Karan, realizing that Preeta is in real distress, asks her to attempt to open the door again. Meanwhile, Nidhi, still hiding, decides to escalate her prank. She covers herself with a white cloth, making herself appear ghost-like, and attempts to push Preeta towards a trident lying in the storeroom.
As Preeta panics, Karan manages to break down the door and enters the room just in time. He rushes to Preeta, and she hugs him in relief. Nidhi quickly hides, making sure no one sees her. Karan comforts Preeta, assuring her that she is safe. Nidhi, pretending to be unaware of what’s happening, enters the room and asks what’s going on. When Preeta explains that she saw a ghost, Nidhi laughs, brushing it off as Preeta’s imagination. Karan, however, scolds Nidhi for laughing at such a serious moment and takes Preeta to her room to rest.
Later, Nidhi contacts Aarohi and brags about how she terrified Preeta. She admits that although she didn’t succeed in hurting Preeta, she’s still pleased that her prank worked. Aarohi warns Nidhi not to get carried away and to stop plotting such schemes.
Back in Preeta’s room, Karan continues to comfort her. Preeta thanks him for rescuing her and breaking the door. She even jokes that she might have died if he hadn’t come. Karan, however, reassures her that he would never let anything happen to her. Preeta then confesses that she’s certain someone else was in the storeroom, which leaves Karan puzzled.
The episode ends on this mysterious note, leaving viewers eagerly waiting for the next episode to uncover more about Nidhi’s schemes and the budding tension between Shaurya, Rajveer, and Palki.
