The episode of Mangal Lakshmi 10th September 2024 starts with Lakshmi speaking to Narayan about Krishna’s divine avatar. She praises Krishna as a beautiful creation and expresses her admiration for his intelligence and brilliance. Lakshmi says that Krishna will be an inspiration to many, symbolizing knowledge and light. Meanwhile, the scene shifts to a mischievous Krishna, who is seen stealing butter from a neighbor’s house. He eats the butter quietly, but soon, the neighbor catches him red-handed. She angrily tells Krishna that she won’t let him go this time. However, Krishna, being the playful boy he is, grabs the pot of butter and runs away.
The neighbor, frustrated with Krishna’s frequent mischief, decides to take action. She suggests that they should report Krishna’s behavior to his mother, Yasodha. As Krishna runs off with the butter, they spot him and vow to complain to Yasodha about his continuous pranks.
Meanwhile, Nandan, one of Krishna’s close friends, speaks to Balram, Krishna’s elder brother. Nandan comments on how Krishna always seems to escape, no matter the situation. Balram agrees and says that Krishna doesn’t listen to anyone. Despite being scolded and even punished by their mother, Krishna’s behavior hasn’t changed. Nandan humorously adds that today, no one can save Krishna from Yasodha’s wrath.
Soon, all the neighbors gather to complain to Yasodha about Krishna’s antics. They accuse him of stealing butter from their houses. Although Yasodha’s own butter remains untouched, they say that Krishna frequently targets their homes for his mischief. Yasodha, listening to their complaints, grows angry and determined. She takes a rope in her hand, vowing not to let Krishna go unpunished this time.
While Yasodha is busy planning her next move, Krishna is seen happily sharing the butter he stole with his friends. However, he seems distracted and starts looking around for Radha. Eventually, he finds Radha sitting on a swing. Krishna, full of joy, offers her the butter. Radha, who is deeply connected to Krishna, accepts it with a smile.
As the narrative unfolds, Narayan praises Lakshmi’s new avatar as Radha, expressing how devoted she is to Krishna. He appreciates Radha’s unwavering dedication to Krishna, which makes her a unique and important part of his life.
In the meantime, Yasodha and the other gopikas (village women) start searching for Krishna, intent on catching him for his mischief. Lakshmi, watching over them, tells Narayan that Krishna’s love for stealing butter often gets Radha involved as well. She laughs, explaining that Radha has become Krishna’s partner in crime, even though Krishna is just a mischievous child at heart.
Back with Radha and Krishna, Radha playfully asks Krishna if he has been stealing butter again. Krishna, without hesitation, nods and offers the butter to Radha, encouraging her to take some. Radha, however, complains that Krishna’s mischief is causing trouble for her too. She worries that everyone will start thinking she is supporting his pranks because she eats the butter he steals. She begs Krishna to stop causing problems for her by stealing butter from their neighbors.
Krishna, with his charming innocence, replies that there is nothing wrong with eating butter. He explains to Radha that Gokul, the village, belongs to him, and therefore he has every right to the butter. Radha argues that it doesn’t mean he should take the villagers’ butter. Krishna cleverly counters, saying that since the butter comes from milk, and the milk comes from cows, it’s not wrong for him to eat it. After all, cows are considered his mothers, and they produce the milk for everyone.
Radha, though slightly convinced, asks Krishna how he plans to avoid getting caught. She also wonders how long he will keep feeding her butter. Krishna laughs and says that he will keep doing it until he finally gets caught. However, just as he says this, Yasodha appears and grabs Krishna, finally catching him in the act.
Radha, seeing what has happened, decides to defend Krishna. She turns to the gopikas and scolds them for making such a big fuss over Krishna taking just a little bit of butter. Radha asks them if their cows aren’t producing enough milk, as Krishna only took a small amount. The gopikas admit that their cows produce plenty of milk. Radha continues to lecture them, saying that nothing is truly being taken from them, so why are they treating Krishna so poorly? She reminds them that they once called Krishna their favorite, yet now they complain about him to Yasodha.
Yasodha, having tied Krishna to a stone as punishment, scolds him for his continued pranks. Krishna’s father, however, supports his son and tells Yasodha to give him some butter. Krishna, with his innocent charm, tells his mother that although he can fill his stomach with the butter from others, only her handmade butter fills his heart. Yasodha, moved by his sweet words, pretends to scold him further but is clearly touched.
The episode ends on this heartwarming note, with Yasodha still pretending to be angry but secretly proud of her mischievous son, Krishna.
