On 9th September 2024, the episode of Lakshmi Narayan takes a dramatic turn, filled with tension and excitement as Kamsan eagerly waits for the news of Krishna’s demise. Kamsan, confident that Devaki’s 8th son will not be the end of him, schemes once again to eliminate Krishna. He sends the demoness Putana to finish Krishna’s life, believing she will succeed where others have failed. Kamsan, with an evil laugh, declares that Putana will be Krishna’s downfall.
Meanwhile, Putana, disguised as a kind woman, carries baby Krishna in her arms after abducting him from Yasodha’s house. She confidently says that this is the end for Krishna, and she will soon take his life. Back in Yasodha’s home, chaos erupts when she discovers Krishna is missing from his cradle. Overcome with panic, Yasodha calls for help and informs her husband, Nandan, about the abduction. The news spreads quickly, and the villagers of Vrindavan begin to search frantically for Krishna, fearing the worst.
As Putana takes Krishna deep into a forest, she pauses and laughs, looking around the area. Krishna, however, remains surprisingly calm, not showing any fear. Putana, puzzled by the calm demeanor of the infant who is prophesied to be the cause of Kamsan’s downfall, expresses her disbelief. She reassures herself, thinking that Krishna will surely start crying once she reveals her true form. But to her astonishment, Krishna simply smiles at her.
Putana then sheds her disguise, revealing her horrifying demon form. She fully expects Krishna to be terrified, but instead, he continues to smile at her, leaving her baffled. Meanwhile, back in Vrindavan, the villagers inform Yasodha that Krishna is nowhere to be found. The entire village is combing every corner of Vrindavan, but there is no sign of the baby.
Yasodha, in utter despair, pleads with them to find her son. Nandan, filled with dread, begins to suspect that Kamsan may be behind Krishna’s disappearance. Balram, recalling an earlier encounter with Putana when she introduced herself as his aunt (mausi), asks Yasodha if this “aunt” had visited. When Yasodha denies it, Balram informs her that the woman had asked for their address and it seems likely that she abducted Krishna.
As the villagers continue their search, Putana, in the forest, prepares to execute her deadly plan. She taunts Krishna, telling him that he will soon die after drinking the venomous milk from her breast. But to her amazement, Krishna continues to smile, showing no fear of the impending danger. Confidently, she feeds him the poisonous milk, fully expecting him to perish.
At that moment, Yasodha and the other villagers reach the forest, still desperately searching for Krishna. Suddenly, Putana begins to feel excruciating pain in her breast. Shocked, her eyes widen as she demands Krishna to let go, but the child refuses. Putana’s body begins to expand, growing taller as she reveals her true, terrifying form. She writhes in agony, unable to bear the pain, and lets out a deafening cry for help. The villagers, including Yasodha, hear the terrifying sound and rush toward it. When they arrive, they are stunned to see Putana’s gigantic, demonic form.
Yasodha, overwhelmed with fear, screams for help, terrified that something terrible will happen to her beloved son. Putana, in her final moments, collapses to the ground, lifeless. As she dies, the earth trembles, and an earthquake shakes the forest. Yasodha, desperate to find Krishna, finally spots him crawling on top of Putana’s fallen body. Relieved beyond words, she picks him up in her arms and holds him close.
The villagers are awestruck by what has just happened. They begin to praise Krishna, marveling at how such a small child could defeat a powerful demon like Putana. Nandan, however, grows anxious, worried that the truth about Kamsan’s involvement might come to light. Trying to deflect attention, he quickly changes the topic. Despite his attempts to downplay the event, word spreads quickly that Krishna has killed Putana, further confirming to Kamsan that Krishna is indeed destined to be his doom.
In the aftermath, villagers from all around come to see Krishna, hailing him as a special child blessed with divine powers. Yasodha, however, remains skeptical, insisting that Krishna is just an ordinary baby and couldn’t possibly have defeated a demon. She scolds Nandan for speaking nonsense, but Nandan remains firm in his belief that Krishna will one day rule the world.
The episode then takes a leap forward in time. Krishna, now a little older, is seen mischievously stealing butter and eating it without his mother’s knowledge, showcasing his playful and innocent side.
The episode ends on this lighthearted note, leaving viewers eager for the next chapter in Krishna’s extraordinary journey.
