Maati Se Bandhi Dor 9th September 2024 Written Update: The episode of Maati Se Bandhi Dor starts with Vaiju and Rannvijay arriving in Mumbai. They stop to buy some street food, and Rannvijay teases Vaiju about being hungry. He buys vada pav and offers it to her, and they share it. While they are distracted, a thief steals Rannvijay’s phone, which was left charging. They try to catch the thief but fail. Rannvijay realizes that not only is his phone gone, but so is his wallet, which leaves them stranded without money. He worries about how they will continue their search for Rohan. However, Vaiju remains positive, saying that Bappa (Lord Ganesha) will help them. She gives Rannvijay some money that she had saved, but it is only enough for a small meal, not enough to even cover breakfast.
As they continue walking, Vaiju’s saree pallu remains tied around Rannvijay’s wrist, symbolizing their bond. Meanwhile, Savi and Rajat’s families are preparing to welcome Lord Ganesha. Savi asks Sai about Rajat’s whereabouts, but when he approaches her, Sai becomes anxious and hugs Savi tightly. During this, the speaker system suddenly stops working, causing a disruption in the ceremony. Vaiju steps forward, offering to entertain the crowd by performing in the Nandi Patak style, which surprises everyone. She begins singing and dancing, and soon the crowd joins in. They are able to collect a good amount of donation money from the event.
Rohan, who is trying to escape from the kidnappers, reaches the same place and hides in the crowd. Vaiju, seeing the large donations they received, believes that Bappa is helping them and that they will soon find Rohan. Savi comes over to compliment Vaiju on her beautiful voice and asks her about her village. She becomes curious as to why Vaiju has come to Mumbai to buy a Ganpati idol, but Vaiju does not get the chance to answer as Savi leaves to fetch water for Sai. Just then, Rohan bumps into Savi while trying to flee, and she overhears the kidnappers discussing plans to take him to Bandra.
In another part of the story, Sai is hit by a car and falls unconscious, causing chaos. Rajat tries to move his car but is stopped by the crowd. Vaiju notices the hostel warden in the area and informs Rannvijay. They quickly follow her in an auto-rickshaw. Savi is rushed to the hospital, and the warden also arrives, assuming that she has successfully misled Vaiju and Rannvijay by bringing them to the hospital. While at the hospital, Rannvijay inquires about Rohan, but the doctor informs him that Sai’s condition is critical and that her blood type, O negative, is rare. They urgently need to find a donor.
Savi asks Rajat about his blood test, but Rajat remembers how he was told that Sai is not his biological daughter. Feeling hesitant, he doesn’t respond to Savi’s questions. Vaiju prays to Bappa, asking for guidance. At the same time, she overhears Savi talking about needing O negative blood for Sai. Vaiju steps forward and announces that she has the same blood type and is willing to donate. Rannvijay supports her decision, but Harsh, another character, offers to donate as well. However, the nurse informs them that the blood has already been donated, and they find out that Vaiju was the one who saved Sai.
Later, Savi meets Vaiju and thanks her for saving her daughter’s life. Vaiju humbly attributes the events to Bappa’s will. She then hints at a personal sorrow by asking Savi about “him,” which Savi assumes refers to Vaiju’s husband. Vaiju responds by saying that some relationships are difficult to explain. Savi, feeling connected, reveals that Sai is not her biological daughter either. The two women bond over their shared experiences, and Vaiju smiles, feeling a sense of connection.
Just as the moment ends, Rannvijay and Rajat arrive to thank Vaiju for saving Sai. A nurse calls for the Thakkar family to see the doctor, and Savi and Rajat rush to meet him. After they leave, Rannvijay offers Vaiju some juice to replenish her energy after donating blood. However, Vaiju declines, stating that she feels fulfilled in having experienced a mother’s love, even if only for a short time. She expresses her sorrow, hinting that she may never become a mother in her lifetime, which saddens Rannvijay.
Meanwhile, the doctor informs the Thakkar family that Sai is out of danger, bringing relief to everyone. However, when Sai asks to see her “Pari Maa” (Fairy Mother), Ashika, feeling hurt, leaves. Vaiju and Rannvijay tell the family that they need to return to their mission of finding Rohan. Bhagyashree invites them to attend the Ganapati Sthapana ceremony, but Rannvijay explains they have work to do. Rajat offers to help them find Rohan and insists they stay for the ceremony.
As the Ganapati Sthapana ceremony begins, Savi encourages Sai to make a wish. Sai wishes for her differences with Rajat to be resolved, which Rajat overhears. During the aarti, Isha stops Vaiju, noticing that she does not have sindoor (vermilion) on her forehead. She asks Rannvijay to apply it, but just as he’s about to, he receives a call. In his rush, he accidentally spills the sindoor on Vaiju’s forehead.
Rannvijay then receives a photo of Rohan, and Savi recognizes him as someone she saw at a Ganapati stall earlier. Rajat and Rannvijay rush off to find Rohan and rescue him, leading to a dramatic encounter with the kidnappers. With the help of Savi, Vaiju, and a group of women, they manage to overpower the kidnappers and free Rohan. The episode ends with Rohan thanking Vaiju for saving his life.
