The episode begins with Karthik telling Mangal that Adit might be upset with what he said earlier. Just then, Adit arrives. He immediately tells everyone that Mangal hasn’t eaten anything since morning. Adit suggests that Mangal should not eat samosas and tea right away. He warns that Mangal could get acidity. Adit recommends drinking lemon water and having something sweet first. Kusum, observing this, asks Shanti if she noticed how much Adit cares for Mangal.
Meanwhile, Sowmya tampers with a gift that Akshat and Ishana had prepared for Adit and Mangal. She replaces the photos of Adit and Mangal with her own picture along with Adit’s. It seems that Sowmya is up to some mischief.
Later, Akshat and Ishana tell Mangal and Adit that they have a surprise for them. They take both of them into their room. Akshat asks Adit to remove the cloth covering the gift. As Adit removes it, everyone sees the original photos of Adit and Mangal. The family is impressed with the thoughtful gift from Akshat and Ishana.
In a flashback, it is revealed that Lipika had seen Sowmya leaving Mangal and Adit’s room earlier. Suspicious, Lipika enters the room to check and notices that Sowmya has tampered with the gift. Lipika decides to fix the situation. She restores the original photos of Mangal and Adit on the gift, undoing Sowmya’s trick.
Later, Sowmya returns to the room and is shocked to see the restored photos. She wonders who changed them back. As she’s trying to figure out what happened, Lipika confronts her. Lipika takes Sowmya to a room and demands to know why she is trying to ruin Mangal’s life. Sowmya responds with a snarky comment about Lipika. Lipika firmly tells her that Adit has chosen Mangal, and it would be best for Sowmya to leave Adit alone. Lipika warns Sowmya that if she doesn’t back off, she will always remain in the shadows, never being the most important person in Adit’s life.
In a fit of anger, Sowmya locks Lipika inside the room and leaves. Shortly after, Sowmya goes to the washroom, knocking on the door, thinking that Mangal is inside. However, Kusum emerges instead. Kusum is confused and asks Sowmya what she is doing there. She then drags Sowmya to another room.
Kusum is furious. She scolds Sowmya, calling her shameless for her actions. In a fit of anger, Kusum slaps Sowmya and demands to know why she came there. As Sowmya stands there, stunned, she begins to imagine what would happen if she revealed the truth about her affair with Adit to the entire family. In her imagination, Adit angrily denies everything in front of his family. He throws Sowmya out of the house and cuts all ties with her.
Sowmya snaps out of her daydream, realizing that revealing the truth would be a huge mistake. She stays silent, while Kusum continues to question her motives for being there.
In the meantime, Adit finds Lipika in his room. He is surprised to see her there and asks what happened. Lipika explains that Sowmya had locked her in the room and that if she hadn’t intervened earlier, Adit’s secret could have been exposed. She shows Adit the tampered photos, explaining that it was a close call and that Sowmya’s actions could have caused a scandal. Lipika warns that Sowmya might have already told others about their affair.
Lipika insists that Mangal deserves to know the truth, but Adit begs her not to tell Mangal. He says he is trying to correct his mistakes and doesn’t want things to get worse. Lipika remains doubtful, saying she doesn’t trust Adit anymore. At that moment, Mangal walks in and hears their conversation. She asks Lipika what she is talking about. Lipika tells her that Adit is a liar and that he has been deceiving her for a long time. Confused and hurt, Mangal demands further clarification.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see how the truth will unfold.
