The episode begins with Mangal questioning Lipika about a promise Adit hasn’t kept. Mangal seems curious about what Adit failed to do. Lipika shares with Mangal that Adit had promised her an expensive hair set worth Rs 45,000, but he still hasn’t bought it. Mangal listens, then tells Lipika that Adit doesn’t need to buy anything for her. But Adit, hearing this, says he doesn’t mind at all. He explains that Lipika deserves it since she’s his favorite sister-in-law. After saying this, Adit leaves.

Lipika, feeling emotional, hugs Mangal. She admits that she knows she doesn’t care for Mangal the way Mangal cares for her. She promises to try and be a better sister. Mangal seems surprised by Lipika’s words, as this is unlike her. Mangal asks Lipika if something is wrong since she has never spoken this way before. Lipika reassures her that nothing is wrong. She expresses her hope that Mangal and Adit will always stay together.

Meanwhile, Sowmya approaches Mangal, wanting to speak with her. Sowmya feels there are many things that need to be said. She also wants to apologize for what has happened. Kusum stands next to Sowmya, holding her hand.

In another part of the house, Lakshmi is lost in her thoughts, recalling recent events. She feels sad. At that moment, Karthik walks up to her and shows her both of his hands, where the name “Lakshmi” is written. Lakshmi notices and tells him that it looks nice, but she asks why he appears sad. Karthik explains that the Mehndi artist wrote her name in halves – one part on each of his hands. He had to show both hands for her to see the full name. Lakshmi then realizes Karthik did this to make her feel better. Karthik confirms this, smiling.

Just then, Gayatri arrives. She notices Karthik’s efforts and asks him what he’s doing. Karthik explains that he was simply trying to cheer up Lakshmi. Gayatri comments on this scene, hinting at her thoughts about the bond between Karthik and Lakshmi.

Suddenly, a loud call for Mangal and Adit is heard from Kusum. The whole house gathers quickly, sensing some urgency. Mangal looks around and asks Sowmya what she’s doing there. Shanti interrupts, guessing that Adit might have invited Sowmya. However, Kusum clarifies that Sowmya came to apologize to Mangal. Sowmya agrees, acknowledging that she is indeed there to seek forgiveness.

Kusum, following her traditions, insists that Sowmya apologize with her hands joined and head lowered. Reluctantly, Sowmya follows the instructions and apologizes. But Mangal dismisses this as unnecessary, pointing out that Sowmya is an outsider. Kusum, however, decides to forgive her and declares that Sowmya can now be part of Mangal and Adit’s wedding. Lakshmi questions Kusum’s decision, asking why this is necessary. Kusum, unfazed, explains that by inviting Sowmya to the wedding, she can keep a close watch on her and make sure she doesn’t cause any trouble.

Shanti, observing Kusum’s decision, comments that she once thought Kusum was smart, but now she’s having doubts. She questions why Kusum allowed Sowmya to join the wedding festivities. Kusum explains her reasoning – if Sowmya were to stay away from the event, she could cause mischief unnoticed. But by including her, they can monitor her every move. To ensure this plan works, Kusum gives Shanti the responsibility of keeping an eye on Sowmya. Shanti agrees, accepting the task.

Later, Kusum and Mangal have a private conversation. Mangal expresses her concerns about Kusum’s decision. She tells Kusum that she’s always supported her choices, but this time, she disagrees. Mangal asks why Sowmya’s presence is necessary at her wedding. Kusum, though, stays firm in her decision. Mangal secretly worries that Kusum might be hurt if she finds out the truth about Adit – that he hasn’t gone to Mumbai to stay with Sowmya.

On the other hand, Kusum has her own fears. She worries that Mangal will be heartbroken if she learns about Adit’s extramarital affair with Sowmya. Both women have their own concerns, and the tension continues to build as the wedding approaches.
