The episode begins with Lakshmi questioning the saree seller about the saree design he is selling. She wants to know who bought the same saree model. Karthik interrupts and asks Lakshmi why she is shopping at this time. He mentions that everyone is waiting for her. Lakshmi shows Karthik the saree and says it looks exactly like the one Adit gave to Mangal.

Lakshmi explains that Adit had told her he bought the saree from Chandini Chowk, but this seller is offering the same saree at a very cheap price. She suspects that Adit might have purchased the saree from this seller instead. Karthik tries to calm her down, saying that it’s common for people to imitate expensive designs. He adds that even if there is a small chance she is right, it would make everyone in the house very sad. Lakshmi remains quiet after hearing this.

Meanwhile, Shanti instructs Sowmya to decorate Adit and Mangal’s bed for their first night after marriage. This angers Sowmya. That night, Sowmya waits until Shanti falls asleep. She then takes a picture of the bridal dress Mangal will wear. She sees Mangal walking towards the hall and pretends to be asleep. Afterward, she secretly calls someone and asks them to make an exact copy of the bridal dress. Sowmya is determined to teach Mangal a lesson the next day.

Lakshmi approaches Mangal and talks to her about Sowmya. She asks where Sowmya is sleeping, and Mangal informs her that Sowmya is sleeping in the hall. At that moment, Adit overhears their conversation. Adit starts thinking about how he should handle Sowmya. He feels that he should ask her to leave the house, as he has no idea what Kusum might be planning. He decides to call Sowmya using Karthik’s phone. When Sowmya answers the call, Adit tells her not to stay at his house anymore.

Sowmya refuses and argues with Adit about the situation. Lakshmi enters the room while Adit is still on the call, so he pretends to be talking to his office. After the call ends, Adit explains to Lakshmi that his phone was updating, which is why he used Karthik’s phone. Then, he quickly deletes Sowmya’s number from the phone and leaves the room. Suspicious, Lakshmi checks Karthik’s phone and finds that the last call was from Karthik to his manager. She wonders why Adit would delete the call if it was just a work-related conversation.

The next day, Mangal, Kusum, and Shanti offer prayers to God, as it is the day of Adit and Mangal’s wedding. Mangal distributes items to everyone. Sowmya asks Mangal for the Aarthi. Later, a delivery arrives for Sowmya at Adit’s house. Kusum questions her about the package, and Sowmya reveals that it’s a lehenga she ordered to wear for the wedding.

Kusum asks to see the lehenga, but Sowmya hesitates and says they can see it after she wears it. Kusum tells Lipika to open the box, but Mangal steps in and says they should respect Sowmya’s wish. Kusum agrees, and Sowmya silently thanks Mangal for saving her. Sowmya thinks to herself that Mangal will be shocked when Adit marries her instead of Mangal.

At Gayatri’s house, Adit gets ready for the wedding. Lakshmi helps him tie the Sehra. Karthik encourages Lakshmi to ask Adit whatever she has on her mind. Lakshmi asks Adit to promise her that he will always take care of Mangal and never betray her. Adit agrees and makes the promise. Sudesh praises the strong bond between Lakshmi and Mangal. Meanwhile, Sowmya takes her bridal dress and thinks about how tomorrow, everyone will witness a big surprise when Adit marries her.
