The episode begins with the women praising Kusum and Mangal for the excellent arrangements they made for the Pooja. During the preparations, Kusum notices that Ishana is wearing jeans. Concerned, she asks Ishana to change her clothes as it is not appropriate to wear jeans during a Pooja. However, Ishana insists on wearing them.
Mangal steps in and supports Ishana, explaining to Kusum that God looks at the heart, not the clothing. Adit also agrees with Mangal’s perspective. Seeing the support from both Mangal and Adit, Kusum reluctantly agrees and allows Ishana to stay in her jeans for the Pooja.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi confides in Shanti and Lipika, revealing that Sowmya’s current boyfriend isn’t really her boyfriend. Lakshmi explains that she caught him today and learned from him that Sowmya’s real boyfriend had paid him to pretend for a while. Lakshmi expresses her concern, saying that she feels Sowmya is hiding something or involved in some trouble. Shanti feels relieved, realizing that Lakshmi hasn’t discovered the affair between Adit and Sowmya.
Later, Sowmya contacts Lipika and demands that she meet her immediately. Lipika initially refuses, but Sowmya threatens to expose the blackmail messages Lipika sent to her and Adit to Mangal if she doesn’t comply. Left with no choice, Lipika agrees to meet Sowmya. Shortly after, Lakshmi receives a call and informs Shanti that she must leave because Gayatri has fallen sick. Lipika also mentions that she needs to go to the market. Shanti suggests that Lipika accompany Lakshmi, and Lipika agrees, leaving with her.
Elsewhere, young Akshat is trying to retrieve a paper plane that has fallen under the chair but can’t reach it. While searching, he finds another piece of paper under the sofa and decides to make a plane out of it. He asks Kusum to help him fold the paper into a plane, but Kusum, busy with the preparations, tells him she cannot. At the same time, Adit gets a phone call from his office and steps away to attend to it.
When Lipika finally meets Sowmya, she confronts her about her intentions. Lipika is shocked when Sowmya suggests that she make Mangal sign the divorce papers that are in Adit’s bag. If Lipika refuses, Sowmya threatens to reveal everything about her. Lipika firmly declines, stating that she will not allow Sowmya to come between Mangal and Adit.
However, Sowmya escalates the threat by showing Lipika a photo of her with a man on a bike. She warns Lipika that she will expose the photo if she doesn’t comply with her demands. At this point, Lakshmi happens to witness Lipika meeting with Sowmya and confronts her, questioning why she is meeting Sowmya in secret.
Lipika tries to cover her tracks, explaining to Lakshmi that she met Sowmya because she was looking for job openings through her contacts. Lakshmi, however, is not convinced and presses her for the truth. Sowmya jumps in, accusing Lakshmi of always assuming the worst and reminding her of the time she wrongly sent Adit to jail.
Sowmya also brings up the time when Lakshmi warned Adit that he would end up in jail for hurting Mangal. Lakshmi is surprised that Sowmya knows about this conversation and asks her how she found out. Sowmya brushes her off, saying she doesn’t want to talk about it, and leaves.
Meanwhile, Akshat approaches Mangal, asking her to make a paper plane out of the piece of paper he found. As Mangal takes the paper, she notices that it has Adit’s signature on it and realizes it might be an important document. Akshat insists it’s not important and begins reading it aloud, revealing that it is a divorce document.
Shocked, Mangal immediately confronts Adit about the divorce papers. Adit tries to downplay the situation, asking Akshat to let him read the paper. After glancing at it, Adit claims that Akshat misread the document, saying it’s about “diverse” work, not divorce. He even offers Mangal the chance to read it herself. Mangal, still uncertain, accepts his explanation.
In the final scenes, Lakshmi returns home, where Karthik asks her why she was away. He expresses concern, explaining that Gayatri almost fell in the kitchen while working, despite fasting. He urges Lakshmi to stay home to avoid such incidents. Lakshmi reassures him, saying she will be more careful. The episode concludes on this note.
