However, Manoj has a different story to tell. In an attempt to defend himself, Manoj lies to the police officer, claiming that Megha is hiding something illegal. He says that Megha’s mother is a police officer in India, and then fabricates a story about finding drugs in Megha’s possession. According to Manoj, he questioned Megha about the drugs, and that’s when she attacked him.

To back up his story, Manoj shows the officer his injuries, which he inflicted upon himself to make his lie seem more believable. Manoj, however, remains calm and suggests to the police officer that they verify his claims by checking at the Amritsar airport.

As Megha is being taken away by a female officer, she pleads with Emmy, a witness to the incident, to tell the truth. Megha reminds Emmy that she saw firsthand how Manoj treated her and urges her to come forward. She warns Emmy that supporting Manoj will eventually backfire, as Manoj will betray her one day too. Afterward, Arjun speaks to his friend, realizing the need for a female lawyer to handle the case. However, the female lawyer also reminds Arjun that they are not in India, subtly suggesting that the process may take longer than expected.

Meanwhile, in the jail cell, Megha is facing an entirely different battle. One of her fellow prisoners, acting aggressively, orders Megha to clean the floor. The episode ends with Megha being subjected to mistreatment in the cell, highlighting the severity of her current situation.
